From the moment that Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind was first revealed, there was one question on every fan's mind - where is Tommy Oliver? There were some hints around that Tommy would eventually show up, , but it's something that hadn't been outright confirmed. Worry not, Power Ranger fans, as Digital Eclipse has finally stopped pulling our leg and confirmed that Tommy Oliver is in the game.

Rita's Rewind Makes The Green Ranger An Unlockable Character

August 28 marks Power Rangers Day and to celebrate the occasion, . To unlock Tommy, players will need to beat the main campaign, similar to how Casey Jones was unlocked in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge.

If you're worried that Tommy won't play an active role in the game's story, then you needn't be, as it was also confirmed that "Tommy's origin story is a part of our game's narrative" which suggests that he'll play a key role. We know Rita's Rewind messes around with time, so it's likely that we'll see a few different sides to the iconic Green Ranger.

There's no word yet on whether Rita's Rewind will feature unlockable skins, but Tommy having a White Ranger outfit is surely a given.

Funnily enough, I got to play Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind last week at Gamescom and asked Digital Eclipse's Chris Kohler about Tommy making it in.
