Fight the Orc armies and Na𓃲zgul in the upcoming battle, and finally bring an end to the reign of the d♏ark lord, Sauron and defeat his servant, the Witch-king of Angmar.
The Bright Lord
The Bright Lord is the final story mission in the game, and is also the last mission in the Eltariel quest line. By starting this mission, you'll start Act 3, which also means that any other quests you haven't completed won't be available to you until it's over.
However, other activities like Collectibles, Fortress Sieges, and Fight Pits will remain unaffected. So, if you'd rather complete the main story and come back to those later, you can.
How To Retake Minas Morgul
Recapturing Minas Morgul has a lot of elements that are similar to a Siege Assault. There are four Capture points that are protected by Orcs and one Nazgul. You n🐟eed to capture every point to complete this part of the m♐ission.
At this stage, some of Talion's abilities will have changed. Instead of Orc followers coming to your aid, you'll be supported by the ghosts of Gondorian soldiers. The soldiers are capable of handling the Orcs, letting you place your focus on defeating the Nazgul.
Important Skills And Stats
Skills |
Description |
Ceaseless Might |
Prevents skills that use Might from completely draining the meter. |
Grim Resolve |
You gain Might every time you get hit by an enemy. |
Gems |
Description |
Life Gem |
This gem will boost your maximum amount of health. Equip it on your armor and cloak for this particular boost. |
Warrior Gem |
Equipping this to your sword and bow increases their maximum damage output. |
Gems have different boosts depending on where they are equipped. The boosts are related to either Armor, Weapon, or Rune. Be sure to craft higher quality gems, too, since they offer much better stats than normal gems.
Beating The Nazgul
Since the start of Act 2, you've been dealing with the Nazgul in every other mission. The Nazgul here have the same attack patterns like the ones you've encountered previously. The best thing to do is follow the prompts that appear right before the Nazgul attacks, and then follow up with a few hits of your own.
Once your Might has filled up, you have to perform an execution on the Nazgul. Be mindful of enemy orcs around you, since you don't want to waste an execution on a grunt that got in the way. When the Nazgul has been damaged enough, he'll be broken, symbolized by a green character icon. You'll be able to dominate them, which then dispels them.
Capturing Points
Once you've beaten the Nazgul, you can quickly finish off the rest of the Orcs and claim the Capture point. As you run to the next Capture point, you should attack or brutalize Orcs around the city to fill your Might meter. On top of that, you can use skills like Ceaseless Might and Grim Resolve to benefit from the surrounding chaos.
With these skills equipped, you'll be able to cut down Orcs left, right, and center. When you get hit, it'll only add to your might, so you won't have to worry about getting your combo all the way up again before you can perform special skills.
The rest of the Capture points should follow the same formula until you've reached the Inner City, where you'll trigger a cutscene and start the fight with the Witch-king.
How To Defeat The Witch-King
The Witch-king's attack pattern is easy to get the hang of; however, once you recognize the pattern he's using, the rest of the fight is going to feel much less intense. The fight has phases that are triggered by how much damage is done to the Witch-king.
First Phase
For the entire duration of the fight, you're going to repeatedly deal with most of the same attacks. He uses the same moves during the first and second phase. The final phase has one additional attack, the curse bombs, and they have a circular area of effec🐼t.

How To Dodge |
Distant Pull Attack |
The Witch-king is going to pull you closer to him at the start of the fight and will follow up with an attack that cannot be parried. |
You need to roll away at the prompt or risk taking a big hit to your healthbar. |
Unblockable Combo |
He'll throw three unblockable attacks and teleport to your position to throw a blockable attack. Counter it by using Wraith Stun. Follow up with attacks of your own until he teleports away. Perform an execution once you h🤡ave enough ⛄Might. This will do a good amount of damage. |
You have to dodge the first three attacks since they are unblockable. |
Nazgul Summon |
After a certain amount of damage has been done, the Witch-king is going to summon two other Nazgul that'll shoot projectiles at you from the edges of the room. |
You won't be able to attack them, but you can dodge their projectiles which they'll shoot at the same time. |
Curse Bombs (Circular AoE) |
The Witch-king is going to throw three bombs at you which have a Curse effect. He does this after pulling you toward him and attacking you with three unblockables. The area of effect is indicated by blue circles on the ground. |
You have to dodge the bombs quickly, as they are thrown consecutively at you. |
Second Phase
The Witch-king is going to pull you toward him again and attack with three consecutive swings that need to be dodged. After dodging three times in a row, he'll go for a fourth attack, but you'll be prompted to stun him. You can once again follow up with some attacks of your own until the Witch-king teleports away from you.
He's going to summon two more Nazgul after enough damage has been done, which means you'll have to dodge four projectiles. They still shoot simultaneously though, so only the number of projectiles has changed. A prompt will appear over their heads when they're about to attack, which is your queue to roll out of the way.
Final Phase
For the final phase of the fight, the Witch-king pulls you toward him, once again, following up with three attacks. However, after attacking you, he teleports away and shoots three consecutive Curse-bombs at you. The area of impact will be indicated by a blue circle appearing on the floor. You have to get out of the circle before you can be damageওd and cursed by the bombs.
After launching his attack, the Witch-king will teleport to you and throw his blockable attack. You'll be prompted to use your stun attack to counter him. You'll launch your own flurry of attacks at him right after, and then once he's broken, you can Drain him to end the fight.
Once you're done fighting the Witch-king, a cutscene will ensue and end where you take control of Celebrimbor in his fight against Sauron.
