As we wait for Nintendo to announce something about its next console, the studio continues to go hard on not only new releases but also amiibos. The Legend of Zelda, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Splatoon have all been blessed with new amiibos in 2023, and we've still got Smash's Sora to come in 2024. If you have other gaps in your amiibo collections that need filling, particularly in the Metroid department, then there's a pretty great deal just for you below.

Samus got a brand new amiibo to go with her very cool blue armor look when Metroid Dread launched in 2021, and it was paired with a figure of the heroin's terrifying new foe, an EMMI. Bundled together in a two-pack, the amiibo pair usually costs $29.99. However, through the link below, you can get the twin pack for just $12.99, so less than half what you'd usually be expected to pay.

For some reason, the Dread two-pack offer is a see-in-cart situation. After you add the two-pack to your cart, double-check that the offer is still live and it hasn't returned to its regular price before you pay.

Since the wait for Metroid Prime 4 continues, Dread remains the newest game in the Metroid series. In fact, as we seemingly hurtle towards the end of the Switch's life cycle, Dread might well be the only new Metroid game we get on the Switch full stop. Nintendo confirmed Metroid Prime 4 is real and in development in 2017, however, updates on the project have been few and far between since then.

Metroid Dread Amiibo Two-Pack

Metroid Dread's amiibo two-pack includes figures for Samus in her blue armor and one of the EMMIs she has to face throughout the game.

Even though we might not get Prime 4 before the Switch is replaced, on the bright side we got a fantastic remaster of the first Metroid Prime game, and Dread was a very strong entry in the series. In the works for 1🍌6 years - a bad sign for Prime 4 which was only announced six years ago - the two-pack lets you recreate one of many terrifying moments when Samus was being pursued by an EMMI, and it was on you to figure out how to take the almost-iꩵnvincible enemies down.

If you do plan on adding to your amiibo through the end of 2023 and into 2024, on top of all the new ones flying at us right now, we have a guide on the very best ones readily available that you should own already. Here's hoping amiibos are still a thing on the Switch 2, and more importantly, that the new console is backwards compatible with the figures we already own.
