Arrival

near the entrance to the Tomb of Lament in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Enemy

Notes

Pyrite Imitec

Weak to Wind. You can steal Blessed Water from them. Can hit pretty hard with Skull Cracker, so use Gold Attack to lower their nu꧑mber of actions per turn.

Guptauros

Take care to avoid its swings in the overworld; being ambushed by them is not good. Weaken them with Tarunda. Raises its De𓂃fense and Hit/Evasion quickly, and swings party-wide for physical damage with Slam Shatter. Weak to Pierce and Ice. The Wizard's Blizza is effective. Steal a Knight's Bracelet from them.

Within your first steps in this dungeon, a Pyrite Imitec will attempt to ambush you from the closest room to the right. Avoid its spells during the overworld phase by leaping behind it to stun it.

At the end of this first corridor is a false wall that you can eventually lift, but for now, maintain course west. You can snag the blue item you saw on your way in, Superior Briny Light Armor, via a crawlspace along the way.

That massive, hulking, enemy walking around up here is a Guptauros. The easiest way to stun it is to head into one of the small rooms and time your strikes. It packs quite a wallop when ambushing. Absolutely use Tarunda on it.

Head downstairs after the Guℱptauros is either dodged or vanquished.

Twisting Alcoves

A map of the alcove area in Metaphor: ReFantazio in Tomb of Lament.

A second Guptauros can be seen lumbering ahead of you on your way in. Wait for it to turn around before approaching. Defeat it, but watch for the crawlspace on the right side of the entry corridor. Follow it to the chest for thꦉe Gypsum Cube, a relic🅷 for Neuras.

Third and fourth Guptauros prowl this area. Use those side rooms!

When the path splits between north and east passages, head east first. There's not much here but a little map-uncovering, but note the staircase for later.

Now head north, and beware of the Pyrite Imitec in the first alcove to your left. Continue north at the next fork, fetching the blue item Broken Igniter while slashing weak enemies.

The lower-left small room leads to a Garnet. The middle-left small room leads to a treasure chest with a Spider Lily Katana. At the top-right small room, there's a crawlspace. Let's take it. It leads to an appraisable Briny Threads.

While you're dealing with those aforementioned weak enemies, they'll gradually open the grates blocking them off from you. That's how you can get the purifiable Blink Baselards from the bottom-left small room.

When you're all wrapped up looting this area, take the staircase on the east that you spotted earlier.

Flipping The Lever

Wounding a Guptauros in Tomb of Lament in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Yet another Guptauros on your way in from the north here. Take the left path (the right path has nothing). Watch for the Pyrite Imitec in the first room. The third room on the left has a blue item, Matterbreak Hammer.

Wrap around the south bend, and, in this room that's southeast from the staircase you entered from, flip the lever on the bottom-left wall. Go south through the newly-opened wall. Continuing south leads back to the entrance, so take the first right.

Grab the tasty Hero's Fruit blue item, then head downastairs.

The Final Stretch

The last zone in Metaphor: ReFantazio's Tomb of Lament.

From the staircase, the path splits north and south; we'll go south first. Beware this latest Guptauros up ahead. Hopefully, by now, you've found your groove in stunning them to mitigate their might.

After the left turn, take another left for a Graced Water. With that out of the way, follow the right path further north, but don't miss the crawlspace on the east wall for another Mindbreak Hammer.

The Guptauros keep coming. There are three in this area; the first is along the path northward; the s𒁏econd's further north from there; and the third's to the southeast.

Let's start from here by veering southeast down this side. But do take the crawlspace into the small room near the top-left of the southeast side for a Gold Beetle!

If you continue along this route, you'll reach a crawlspace at the north end of the next fork that leads to a White Fortune Mask blue item, a purifiable Coral Guard Lance, and purifiable Bone Crushers.

Alright, let's go north now. The path will send you left; climb the staircase here. Flip the nearby lever and proceed.

In this last area, the blue item is a Superior Briny Weapon. A nearby crawlspace leads to a Pyrite Imitec - more importantly, a second Gold Beetle.
