Man-Eater's Grott♏o is an important optional dungeon location in not only for fulfilling the bounty contract to exterminate , but for locating one of Neuras' relics, as well. This makes it doubly worth investigating, so investigate, we must.

Using a certain NPC as a waypoint, our M☂an-Eater's Grotto walkthrough will make sure you don't miss a single treasure on your way to both of the aforementi🍸oned objectives. We've got a link straight to the boss fight, too. Get in here, get out of here, and get back to your unlkely quest to change the challenging world of Metaphor: ReFantazio.

You can enter Man-Eater's Grotto prior to obtaining your fourth party member, which occurs a few days into its earliest availability. We suggest waiting until the fourth, but it's not impossible without him.

Arrival

Entering Man-Eater's Grotto in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Main Enemies In Man-Eater's Grotto

Notes

Gangaflo

Blocks Ice. Weak to Fire. Can inflict Paralysis.

Juvenile Rockworm Valmo

Weak to Ice. Sandstorm lowers everyone's Hit and Eva🅺sion. Festering Saliva not only damages, but often inflicts P𒉰aralysis.

You'll notice very quickly that Man-Eater's Grotto is labyrinthine. It's not so much about "reaching the next room" as ascertaining when to climb to higher elevations, when to leap back down, anꦍd of course,🌊 where to find all the treasure along the way.

If you look at your mini-map, there's an area to your left almost immediately on your way in, but you can't access it from here. This will be a recurring issue in Man-Eater's Grotto. Instead, do the only thing you can do - leap off the ledge up ahead.

The Junior Rockworm Valmos down here can easily ambush you if you don't know their game plan. When you see one burrow underground, run away from 𓆏its underground trajectory, waiting for it to ascend. Then, attack ൲it.

Northwest, there's an NPC called Worldly Adventurer who'll tell you about the Gangaflos. Let's use this NPC as a guidepost for the contents of the two main exits in this area.

You might be wondering, "What about the third exit, the one to the south?" The southern exit loops back to the dungeon's entrance, giving you a🍰 way back to the entry door. That's it.

Northeast From The Worldly Adventurer

To your immediate left, there's our buddy, the Talkative Tooth, and a drop to a lower level. As this leads you back to the entry area, don't take the plunge yet. Instead, find the crawlspace to the treasure chest containing Screwed-Up Mineral.

If Neuras has already told you that he's looking for a relic, this treasure chest would have been given a quest marker. Either way, you'll need this to progress his Follower ranks, so it's an important find.

The blue item at the southeast corner of this room contains a Hero's Fruit, so don't miss it. As for the treasure chest, it contains an arguably less impressive Onyx.

Once you've scoured the area, use either of the left-side ledges to leap down, then return to the NPC if you're still exploring the paths from his location.

North From The Worldly Adventurer

The north chamber of Man-Eater's Grotto in Metaphor ReFantazio

After hopping down the forced ledge, take notice of the "normal" blue item a bit southwest from you, as it contains a Magic Incense. Then, find the southeast corner of the room, with an Aquamarine treasure chest.

To the northwest, you'll find a Magla Crystal blocking further travel. The enemy spawns here can contain as many as five Juvenile Rock Valmos,🥀 so do your best to get a preemptive strike to make your life far easi﷽er.

After destroying the Magla Crystal, follow the corridor to the north for a Gold Beetle in the middle of exits to the left and to the right.

Through the right exit is a treasure chest with a lovely Hero's Leaf of Light. Through the left exit, there's a west chest with an Energy Incense and a south chest with an Amethyst.

Jump down from the ledge near the south chest to return to roughly where the Magla Crystal was destroyed. Now that we're back here, run south, and then take the left exit here to find a Plaintive Soldier NPC.

From here, venturing all the way north (don't miss the Quartz Mace treasure on the way) will bring you to Plateau, the save-file feline, and the door to the boss fight. Whenever you're ready to face the Alpha Rock Valmo, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:follow our boss gui♍de to take them out!

Getting The Beast Fang Katana

The Chimenza enemy's location in Man-Eater's Grotto in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Venturing south, on the other hand, leads you to the sole instance of a Chimenza enemy. This three-headed beast resists Fire, but is weak to Wind, making a Magic Seeker with Cyclo its worst nightmare. It's also easy to stun before combat.

After we defeated the Chimenza, we received the excellent Beast Fang Katana. It's a weapon for the Thief Archetype (unlocked via the fourth party member) with an Attack of 180 that inflicts Poison via its normal attacks. It's worth the effort!

If, by chanc🎃e, you don't receive the Beast Fang Katana, go ahead and grind on the Chimenz🦂a a few times until it appears.

The north exit from the Chimenza is nothing but a useless ledge, while the east exit sends you up some stairs for a Turqoise treasure and a switch that'll give you a shortcut back to the main entrance. That's everything to see in Man-Eater's Grotto!
