How To Unlock Basilio As A Follower

The bond screen for Basilio in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Basilio joins the party at the conclusion of the Altabury Opera House dungeon. You won't have to wait for long before you can earn Basilio as a follower - the game's fina🐷l follower, in fact, if you've꧙ not skipped any of the optional folks along the way.

From September 12th forward - you'll still be in Altabury at this point - grab a side quest that gets you traveling aboard the Gauntlet Runner. Doing so will allow you to speak with Basilio down near the engineering bay.

Agree to spend some time with Basilio, and his bond will at last be establ﷽ished.

All Basilio Follower Ranks And Rewards

As a reminder, you will always earn the next rank in follower conversations. This is in contrast to Persona, which has "wrong" answers th൲at can set you back byꩲ earning you fewer (or no) points.

Instead, you can gain more MAG to spend on Archetype growth by answering with ideal responses. It's a lot less pressure, and you can gain MAG by the thousands in all sorts of ways, so don't feel too pressed. It's just nice to be nice!

Beast's Insight Basilio's🍃 evasion against Humans and Beasts is significantly increased.

Additionally, reaching Rank Eight for Basilio will give him the Grand Fantasy modifier. With this, as with other party members, he can learn the Royal Berserker class after 9/24 provided he fulfills all other study conditions.
