While the 53 tracks will be spread across The Vinyl Collection's first five discs, the sixth disc has been saved for some of Metal Gear's most iconic sound effects. Side A of disc six has been dubbed Solid Sneaking and features nothing but various stealth cues from across the series, while side B is called Vs. Boss and does the same with all of Metal Gear's boss cues from throughout the years. Nothing like the sound of a boss thꦿat has haunted you over the years blasting through your speakers to keep you on your toes.

Pre-orders for the six-disc set are now open at Laced Records and The Vinyl Collection is priced at $130. There's also a cheaper double LP with a concentrated 18 tracks rather than the full 53 if you're happy with nothing but Metal Gear's essential listening. Sure, a lot of the music will be missing, but among the 18 tracks included on the double LP, which costs $38, is The Best Is 🧜Yet To Come from the original Metal Gear Solid, and Snake Eater from Metal Gear Solid 3.

After almost a decade of nothing new from Metal Gear Solid, it's a relief to know the series hasn't been abandoned for good. It's also great for Me𝔉tal Gear fans that the resurrection of the series won't stop at games alone. Not is the series getting an expansive collection to celebrate its music, but Uniqlo revived its retired t-shirt collection earlier this year and it wound up being a very popular decision.
