In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Naked Snake, who would go on to become Big Boss, faces off against his former mentor and her comrades known as the Cobra Unit. These make up the majority of the boss fights, but you also face off against a young Revolver Ocelot and Colonel Volgin, the game's primary antagonist.
Like every game in the series, the boss encounters are unique spectacles that force you to utilize the game's mechanics in interesting ways. While we rank them from easiest to hardest, we'll also try and give you some basic tips on making these fights a little more manageable.
9 ▨ The Sorrow
Fought In The Middle Of A Near-Death Experience After Snake Jumps From A Waterfall To Evade Capture
This is barely a boss fight and more of a simple puzzle. What item does Snake have on his person to get him out of the afterlife? The revival pill 🐽in his tooth, of course.
You can either choose to deplete your health bar quickly with explosives to ღgo to the game over screen or walk through the river and be haunted by every enemy you have killed up to that point in the game. If you are doing a pacifist run, the walk is very short.
8 Ocelot
The First Fight, And Second Time You Fight Ocelot In The Series
This fight feels like an evolution of the Olga Gurlukovich boss f𝓰ight from Metal Gear Solid 2. You and Ocelot are separated by a chasm and exchange gunfire. Like in his fight from Metal Gear Solid on the PS1, h🌱e is vulnerable while he is reloading.
His Gru Comrades will sometimes take shots at yo♐u or heckle y💎ou if you use tactics they deem unfair. To further gain the upper hand, throw live animals at him or shoot down the hornet nest and watch him twirl his revolvers to kill the pesky insects.
7 The Pain
The Second Boss Fight, Encountered Right After Finding The Exit To The Cave
The Pain is not as difficult as he is annoying. All 💮of his atta💞cks do minimal damage and are more hindrances than real threats. He covers himself with bees occasionally to become temporarily invulnerable.
When he coats you with a yellow material that attracts the hornets, simply jump into the water to remove the 🅠scent and prevent them from attacking you. This fight🅷 will take a little while but you are not likely to encounter many game over screens.
6 Shagohod
After A Long Chase That Destroys Groznyj Grad, You Finally Face Off Against This Game's Battle Tank
This boss has two phases. First, Colonel Volgin is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:inside the Shagohod while you are riding shotgun on Eva's motorcycle. After depleting this health bar, he exits the vehicle, attaches himself directly to the electronics and controls the Shagohod while standing on top of it.
During the first phase, you just have to disable one of the treads with the RPG-7 while Eva circles around to the back, giving you an opportunity to blast away at its weak point. During the second phase, use the mounted guns in the area to shoot directly at Volgin. He is shielded𓂃 but takes damage after hitting him enough times with heavy weaponry.
5 ♚ Colonel Volgin
Fought Right After Planting The C3 Explosives In The Shagohod Hangar
Despite his big stature and threatening demeanor, Colonel Volgin is not too difficult of a boss fight. The key here is using CQC. When he is not glowing blue and flowing with ele🐎ctricity you can throw him to the floor with CQC (run up to him and hold the melee attack button to put him in a chokehold).
While he is on the ground, blast him with the weapon of your choice. After his health bar is half-way down he adds a💯 few m꧋oves to his arsenal. He gathers the scattered bullets and shoots them out in a sphere. Time a roll to dodge this. He also puts an electric current on the floor and sweeps it across the area. Roll over this when it comes toward you.
4 The Fear
Fought After Leaving The Lab After Meeting With Granin
The Fear's arrows require you to heal Snake through the "Cure" tab in the pause menu. Other than that, the boss battle is a matter of tracking his whereabouts in the arena. If you acquired the Thermal Goggles - found in a locker in the area where you first rescue Sokolov - you can use this to see the Fear even when he uses stealth camouflage.
Otherwise, you have to pay attention to the sound design and the leaves that fall from the trees. Even when he has stealth camo activated you are able to see him with your naked eye. Stay in first-person to keep a 🎀beat on him and shoot him while he is perched on a tree branch.
3 The Fury
Fought Just Before Reaching Groznyj Grad
If you get too close to this former astronaut, he will easily destroy the majority of your health ꦛbar with his flamethrower. Even if you are far away he reacts quickly when he spots you from a distance.
The trick here is shooting him when his back is turned from you. Use the corners and the camera to your advantage. Stand behind the wall and move the camera to get a ไview of him while out of sight. If he is facing away from you, take the opportunity to strike.
2 The End
The Boss With Three Unique Ways To Defeat Him
A traditional fight with this ancient sniper can be extremely frustrating if you don't know what to do. The play area is huge and he is always perched somewhere out of reach, sniping you from above. You can make this a traditional sniper battle with your SVD and spot him either with your thermal goggles or by the flare from his scope.
Alternatively, you can sneak up behind him and attack him at close range. If you don't want to deal with that, speed up the console's internal clock by eight days or just wait that long to see the sniper day of old age. Even better, you can avoid the fight entirely by sniping him right after the cutscene outside the warehouse before he is rolled away in his wheelchair.
1 The Boss
The Final Fight In The Game, Fought After Escorting An Injured Eva During The Last Act
Metal Gear Solid 3 does not disappoint when it comes to this final fight. There's so much emotion behind it and the field of white flowers makes the whole encounter surreal. When it comes to the actual battle, the Boss will both throw you to the ground in CQC and mow you down with her automatic weapon, called the Patriot.
She is most vulnerable when her back is turned. When she starts a CQC combo, you have to time a counterattack perfectly to gain the upper hand. If you knock her to the ground he is also open for attack. As if her powerful attacks weren't enough, you only have ten minutes to win before the whole place is blown to smithereens.
