168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Master Detective Archives: Rain Code is here, and Spike Chunsoft fans and Danganronpa diehards alike are no doubt excited to get started. Rain Code isn't exactly something we'd classify as a straight-up interactive visual novel; there's more going on than usual, with the player able to explore the seedy Kanai Ward and undertake side quests along the way.

All this adds up, no doubt. So, how long does it take to beat Rain Code? How long might it take to complete the game in full, relative to simply sticking to the main story? It's early going, but here are our findings.

How Long Does It Take To Complete Rain Code's Main Story?

Before we answer this directly, let's take a quick look at Rain Code's structure. The game is split into six chapters, though they're labeled as 'zero through five'. Chapter Zero is, thus, an extensive prelude where many of the game's elements are introduced. But make no mistake, it's still a full-fledged detective case!

You can get through this first - er, 'zeroth' - chapter in about three hours. Subsequent chapters took us between four and five hours apiece; that's counting everything from introductory scenes on through to the epilogues, so there's a fair bit to get through.

Averaging it all out, we'd estimate a playthrough of Master Detective Archives: Rain Code that is solely focused on the main story will clock in at around 25 hours.

How Long Does It Take To 100 Percent Rain Code?

Master Detective Archives: Rain Code has a hefty amount of optional content for players who wish to experience everything there is to offer in the dark and dreary (yet oh-so-glamoro🎶us) Kanai Ward.

Between fulfilling requests (read: side quests), finding collectibles and viewing the memories they unlock, and generally just wandering around chatting with the game's many NPCs for additional bits of worldbuilding, there's no shortage here.

Not every collectible is easy to find, either, and they come in five different varieties at that. Though when it comes to requests, they're handily marked on your mini-map; but their individual lengths can vary a fair bit. We haven't even mentioned the time that'll get eaten up if you inspect every interactive object in the game, rather than just the ones necessary during investigatioꦿns.

All told, engaging in Rain Code to its fullest extent will add roughly 10-15 more hours to Yuma Kokohead's journey, for an estimated total of about 35-40 hours.

Since we're early adopters, our analysis may prove a bit more purely anecdotal than we anticipate. We'll monitor for other players' experiences, and if for some reason they don't match ours, we'll update this with a revision soon!
