The first couple of Mass Effect games are pretty old and some players might have a hard time getting into the first, oldest adventure. This bundle remasters and optimizes the old feeling that these titles used to have s🦹o that new players can enjoy🦩 the experience better.

Legendary Edition is worth your money because it includes multiple full-fledged games which include promotional weapons and Mass Effect 3 DLCs💧 - all of which were launched when these titles first came out.

One thing that surprised me instantly is how organic the story and characters still feel, even 14 years after originally launching. Which is odd, since many of them are synthetics. I was expecting to cringe a bit and see a drop from the sequels, but the acting, characterisation, and worldbuilding he⛦re are all nearly as fantastic as what comes later. I would still say that the sequels are playable without the first game (heck, that’s how I had to do it before now), but you’re doing yourself a disservice if you choose to skip the first game.

Commander Shephard's story changes as you make choices in each game. Some components of the story in Mass Effect 3 may not hapꦜpen to another player who chose not to kill that person or♎ to make love to that alien.

Since each story can impact the next, this magnificent space trilogy is best experienced in the Legendary Edition, where you can access alꦆl three games at the same place and continue your galactic journey.

Time Expenditure

Though each Mass Effect is considered an open-world RPG, neither of the four takes any more than 50 hours to complete. You c🐷ould finish the entire trilogy within a week if you were determined enough.

Each entry, from the first one to the third, takes around 25 hours 🅘to complete when not going for all side quests and DLC. If you are someone who likes to be🐷 a completionist or take their sweet time experiencing every corner of a game, it would likely take you 50+ hours to see everything each entry has to offer.

Combining this information, it would take around 150+ hours to complete Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.

The original Mass Effect trilogy is an incredible trio of games. Each one contains strong storytelling and compelling characters. And in the Legendary Edition, the original title’s clunkiness has been fixed, meaning all three games now have smooth combat, too. Because of those fixes to the first game and the inclusion of all the DLCs, the Legendary Edition is the best way to experience the trilogy. Plus, as someone who ♈already had all the games and DLC, I still enjoyed playing my way🔯 through them again, even if the second and third games didn’t feel any different.

In addition to that, the fact that it comes with the DLC for Mass Effect 3 (looking at you, Citadel) is just a heap of icing on this Mass Relay-sized cake.

There's been a galaxy-shaled hole in my heart since Mass Effect 3 capped off Commander Shepard's spectacular quest. The Mass Effect trilogy introduced millions to some of the best worldbuilding in the gaming medium, but it's the extraordinary cast of characters that have stuck with fans for the long haul.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is everything that veterans of the war against the nefarious Reapers will remember, but updated with a graphical makeover that highlights the games' great aesthetic but never abandons BioWare's original artistic decisions.

Several of the trilogy's most unforgettable missions can be found within the vast array of downloadable content included in Legendary Edition. Better still, clunky aspects of the first entry (which has long been lauded for its grand storyline, but seldom loved for its awkward gameplay), lift that stellar chapter to new heights so that newcomers to the crew of the SSV Normandy SR-1 won't struggle with the good ship's rougher landings.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is the definitive experience, and I can't recommend it enough.
