As reported by Miller Ross, developer NetEase Games is taking inspiration from Peach Momoko's alternate universe comic run Demon Days. Set in Feudal Japan, this limited series follows wandering swordswoman Sai and her dog Logan as they stumble on a village raided by Oni and the Great Snake demon Orochi — you probably know them better as Venom.
It's Probably Kwannon, Not Betsy Braddock
Going by the design Marvel Rivals shared, it ♔looks as though we'll be playing as Kwannon, rather than the original Betsy Braddock. If you're not caught up on yoꦐur comic history, Psylocke debuted in Captain Britain #8 way back in the '70s (seeing as Betsy is his sister), and was made to take on an Asian appearance by The Hand. She also adopted the name Lady Mandarin, becoming the group's highest ranking assassin.
It has long been due to Betsy being a White British woman taking on an Asian appe𒁃arance and name, an issue that would finally be grappled with in 1993 by Fabian Nicieza. They retroactively wrote that Braddock had been body swapped with Kwannon, the now far more popular and recognisable depiction of Psylocke. It certainly makes sense that Marvelඣ Rivals would sidestep the Betsy debacle entirely.
We don't know much else about Psylocke, and it's worth noting that this is an early look, so things could change. But alongside 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Captain America and The Winte🌊r Soldier, we now have a better idea of how the rosteꦆr will grow whe♐n the game returns later this year on December 6.
