Fortunately, you'll have plenty of time between missions to unwind with your allies inside the Abbey. Spend enough time with any particular hero, and you'll be able to try out their Challenge Mission at the Forge.
Captain Marvel will be one of the first heroes to join your fight against Lilith and her minions. This will give you the chance to get a bit of a head start when you work on unlocking her Challenge Mission, Hero's Heart.
How To Unlock Captain Marvel's Challenge Mission
Start by going on missions with Ghost Rider on your team four times. This will unlock a research project called Forged in Hellfire at the Forge, which will take one day to complete. Go on one more mission to pass the time, and, after the research is done, you'll get the option to build the Armory for 175 Credits. Challenge Missions will be added as an option at the Forge with Hunter's challenge already unlocked once the Armory is built.
With Challenge Missions now available at the Forge, it's time to focus your attention on getting to Friendship Level 5 with Captain Marvel. There are various ways to gain Friendship XP, but Hangouts are great at giving you a pretty decent boost.
Just choosing the right activity for a Hangout will already give you a good amount of Friendship XP. For Captain Marvel, know that she loves playing cards and stargazing. On the other hand, try to avoid fishing or meditating with her, since these activities won't give you any additional points.
How To Clear Hero's Heart
Captain Marvel's Challenge Mission will have one Whisper of Memory and one Crystal that has 170 HP. Your objective here is to destroy the Crystal to acquire the Supernova card.
You'll have unlimited Card Plays for this mission, but Move and Redraw will be disabled. Follow these steps to clear the objective for Hero's Heart:

Hero's Heart Rewards
Clearing Hero's Heart will reward you with Captain Marvel's legendary Midnight Suns skin and the Supernova heroic card. While its damage may seem mediocre, Supernova only costs two Heroism to use.
A fully upgraded Supernova will add the effect of generating 2 Heroism, basically refunding your resources right away when using it. Factor in using it while Captain Marvel is in Binary mode, and you have a pretty efficie🍰nt way𒀰 of clearing large groups of enemies.
