players might want to rethink their negativity towards the Feather, as a new use has been discovered that instantly make🅠s it one of the game's most helpful items.
Although Mario Kart💦 World takes the series in a brand-n💟ew direction by going open-world and opens things up considerably with a massive 24-player count and bigger maps, it's fair to say that it still feels very similar to previous games in the 🅷series. The core foundations are pretty much how they've always been, with the item pool remainiܫ🍷ng basically untouched since Mario Kart 8.
While the Shells, Mushrooms,💙 and Super Horns are still the standouts of Mario Kart World's itemꦫ roster, there are a few interesting additions to spice things up. and lets players instantly jump to easily grind on walls and other surfaces. That's not all it can do, though.
We've All Been Using Mario Kart World's Feather Wrong
I'll Never Complain About Getting It Again
At first glance, the Feather's little hop doesn't really seem to do all that much. From personal experience, I've had several arguments with p꧃eople about what the Feather is even me🉐ant to be used for, with some thinking it's just to get a trick in mid-air for a little boost, and others agreeing with me that it ties into World's new verticality.
As it turns out, though, there's another use for the Feather altogether that makes it far more interesting. Over on Twitter, . Just before they got hit by a Red Shell and nearly had their match ruined, LonelyGoomba used the Feather to hop over the Red Shell and completely do🅠dge it.
To be fair, there are a lot of items in Mario Kart World that can nullify the Red Shell, but the ❀Feather certainly didn't seem liꩲke one of them until now.
That's right, . As LonelyGoomba puts it best, "we all owe the Feather an apology". Even as someone who ha🤪s been using the Feather and finding it plenty helpful, I'll admit that I didn't realise its game until now, and I'll definitely be holding onto it instead of instantly giving myself a boost.
