Eagle-eyed fans have spotted some names in the credits of both Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza that give us a🅺🐼n idea of a potential future crossover.

Although the idea of Mario Kart World getting post-launch DLC might seem a little wild considering all the backlash the game received 💦for its $80ꩲ price tag, that hasn't stopped it from seeming inevitable. 🌱, but pretty much all of us agree that it's 🌃happening at some point.

, Redditor SemiLazyGamer shared a post that originates from prpro-03 in the Super Mario subr✱eddit. I know I've said subreddit a lot, but stick with me. In the thread, include a few interesting names that were previously in Mario Kart World's credits.

, who appear in the credits of both games. While Mario Kart World doesn't say who they voice ඣfor some reason, Donkey Kong Bananza does actually tie them to a specific character. Interestingly, the characters they play in Donkey Kong Ban🎀anza aren't actually in Mario Kart World yet, suggesting they might be added later.

For example, Yuu Hayashi voices Void Kong in Donkey Kong Bananza, but isn't listed with a specific character in Mario Kart World's credits. Tsuguo Mogami, on the other hand, voices (here's your second spoiler warning in case you need it) King K. Rool 🐓in Bananza, and doesn't seem to have voiced anyone in Mario Kart World yet.

Strangely, youn🌳g Pauline doesn't apꩲpear to be in the credits for Mario Kart World, despite being the most obvious addition.

While it's poss🤡ible that🌄 the pair are voicing NPCs or other characters altogether, it does seem as if Mario Kart World's credits might have revealed that Void Kong and King K. Rool are being added in a future update. Whether that's going to be a free one or part of some expansion is unclear, but we'll always be happy to see more Donkey Kong representation.
