168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mario Kart 8 is a very popular game on the Switch because of its entertaining gameplay, cool maps, and other awesome elements. However, throughout the series' history, we can look back at tracks from the past and appreciate their greatness and innate value. These tracks, at the end of the day, carved a path for many of the newer ones we see today, so we should thank them.
10 🦹 Banshee Boardwalk (N64) ꧃
The spooky boardwalk is one of the multiple Boo-themed tracks in the Mario Kart series. Banshee Boardwalk is a stand-out among them, as it was theꦉ first that came out with 3D graphics and totally blew our minds. The pitch-black landscape, creepy music, and screechy sound effects assure you how haunted this place is.
Without a doubt, this track surely scared a lot of kids back in the day, tꦺhough it still꧑ became a nostalgic map for many. This rare creepy map is simply iconic and deserves to be considered one of the greatest.
9 🌜 D.K’s Jungle Parkway (N64) 🧸
Who else remembers being pummeled by fruits when accidentally dဣriving in the jungle grass? D.K. is the host of this track, which contains several iconic features, such as the massive ramp that lets you fly over the passing ferry, or the cave where you can takꦆe a mini shortcut.
There are some areas that are more challenging than others, such as driving through the jungle and avoiding the fruit throws, but once you get the hang of it, you will like it much more. Fun fact: D.K’s Jungle Parkway⛄ has been remade once for ꦇMario Kart Wii.
8 ♛ 😼 Mushroom City (GC)
The busy nightlife of Mushroom City has remained in our hearts since Mario Kart: Double Dash, which launched in 2003. The illuminating hi𓄧ghway plus the upbeat music really gives this one a special city vibe.
What’s distinctive about this track is the fact that there are multiple different routes yo𝔍u 🐭can take to finish a lap. This is not a common feature in the series, and may actually be confusing for beginner players. However, once you understand the layout of the map a bit more, you can appreciate this aspect of the track, as it adds more variety.
7 ♕ 💞 Wario Colosseum (GC)
A memorable track due to its many twists and turns, Wario Colosseum contains several wild ramps and dash panels that make it seem like you're on a roller coaster. It's a special map that is unlike all the other classic tracks we have seen.
For beginner drivers, this track would have surely been difficult for you. Although, driving on 🥀this map would have really refined your driving and drifting skills because of how wacky some of the roads are. Wario always seems to host eccentric map🎉s, and those that have driven this one understand how intense it can be.
6 ♔ Sky Garden (GBA)
Sky Garden is an outstanding track that was first seen in 2001 with Mario Kart: Super Circuit. This map feels like hugs and looks like sunshine — it’s simply a map that exudes warmth and creates immense nostalgia if you go🌸t to play it.
The road magically hovers in the sky while simultaneously appearing earthy with a nature-themed complexion. The background music is joyful and bubbly, and it can imprint these feelings onto you — at least for a moment. The map has been in a total of four installments, and it's completely understandable!
5 Toad's Turnpike (N64)
A notable track from t🌠he Nintendo 64 installment, Toad’s Turnpike is a classic figure of eight map, but not a typical one. You get to drive on a busy highway where passing vehicles are dangerous obstacles, so your driving skills will be put to the test.
Toad’s Turnpike features several great elements to it. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:One of them is the music: it sounds great in general and goes along well with the scenery. You also see a beautiful🍰 sunset as you drive on the highway, deceivingly giving this one a tranquil atmosphere while remaining a challenging course.
4 🌺 Rainbow Road (N64)
By far one of the most memorable tracks in the series’ history, the N64 Rainbow Road is one that had remained in the heart and minds of Mario Kart fans since its debut. It's a magical juxtaposition between super bright neon colors and a dark pitch black sky. The music feels enchanting and fits the map very nicely.
The long surreal track is locked in by star rails, so you are forced to race with your competitors in close proximity. You also need to avoid the moving Chomps that can seriously slow you down. It is a challenging, yet iconic track that is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:super fun to play.
3 Bowser’s 🦹Castle (N64)
We’ve got to see 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:many different castles that B﷽owser hosts over the years, there are just too many to count! However, what makes this one different is that it’s the first time it caꩵme to life in a 3D format. We witnessed the exciting conversion from a 2D platform to a 3D hellish castle.
The design of the castle is off-putting, especially as you continue to drive along and observe a fire-breathing Bowser statue and the massive Thwomps covering the track. Put simply, it's a hardcore map that you might remember playing as a child, when you only would have reacted with awe.
2 💦 Rainbow Road (GC)
This beautiful and tricky road is a part of the Special Cup in theᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ Game Cube installment. The greatness of this map is undeniable, as it not only looks beautiful but is also challenging enough to keep you alert. The dash panels that are scattered throughout the map can help or hinder you since many are placed in precarious spots.
The song that plays in the background is grand and joyous, and makes you feel like you have accomplished a great milestone — well, making it this far into the Special Cup sure is! In addition, the track is colorful, radiant, and floating in the sky. Let's just say it's one of those maps that makes you wish you were there.
1 DK Mountain (🅰GC)
The dynamic map of DK’s Mountain is a favorite one among many Mario Kart fans. It stands out in the Game Cube installment, as it's particularly unique. You may remember prominent characteristics, such as the massive Barrel Cannon that shoots you up to DK Mountain, or the skinny and fragile drawstring bridge at the end of the lap.
It's not difficult to tell it's a beloved map, as it's been remade twice. Although, the original version of the track seems to be the most admired one, due to the more vigorous gameplay of Mario Kart: Double Dash.
