Granted, there are a handful of artifact decks around in Modern that Cover of Darkness won't play nicely against. Thankfully, your sideboard is likely to already have answers to these kinds of opponents. This card is for every other deck gumming up the ground with creatures.

Unfor🐎tunately, Reanimation decks have struggled to find ✨footing in the Modern metagame for many years now. That being said, when a reanimator deck finally rears its head yet again, Restart Sequence is a good card to keep in mind as an option.

In any deck running only historic permanents, this functions as a one-sided board wipe. There's not currently a historic deck in the Modern metagame. However, as soon as one becomes viable, this will be a slam dunk inclusion in the list, whether it's for the mainboard or sideboard.

This is still a powerful card, and it's possible it might see some niche play in the sideboards of blue decks that don't have access to board wipes. However, Mono-Blue decks in Modern are very few and far between.

The last of the freerunning bunch, Eagle Vision, offers you the opportunity to draw three cards for one generic and one blue mana. This is a much better rate than most 💜draw spells offer, even if it comes with the drawback of sorcery speed.

Of course, actually activating the freerunning cost is the conundrum that all of these cards present, but it's very easy to see a world where 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:more Assassins and Changelings are printed. Each one of these freerunners becomes ൲a key addition to the deck.

Here's a nifty addition for anyone interested in building a taxes-themed deck, as well as a useful creature to flicker repeatedly. Tax Collector gives you the choice of either increasing the cost of your opponent's spells on their next turn or blanking a creature until your next turn.

If you can trigger Tax Collector's enter the battlefield effect multiple times with a card like Essence Flux or Ephemerate, you can essentially make it near impossible for the opponent to cast a spell on their next turn. The alternative arrest mode is a nice option to have, but the tax ability is truly what makes this card notable.

In any deck 🥃whose mana base can support it, this is a land that comes with the nifty ability to buy back one of your spells. Beyond that, it also exiles graveyards, making it graveyard hate that you can include in your mainboard without any extra ꩲdeckbuilding cost.

Not every deck will be interested in this land, as it's best used when tapping for colorless. However, more than a few decks can slot it into their mainboard without any issue. Who doesn't like a little extra value at no additional cost?

Who Needs Assassins When You Can Have Birds

Yet another powerfully designed Bird creature to be printed this year, Senu comes with the unique ability to return to🦩 the battlefield attacking after being exiled. While it can exile itself to gain you some life and scry 2, this ability works no matter how Senu ended up in exile, which is what makes it so int🅠eresting.

The most obvious w⛄ay to use Senu to great effect is by pitching him to your Solitude when evoking it from your hand. Assuming you have a legendary creature already in play, like Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer, it then returns to the battlefield immediately attacking as though it had haste.

Cards with unique abilities are always hard to judge at first glance, so there's sure to be some other interesting ways that Senu surprises all of us.
