168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering has unveileꩲd the first full set in its multi-year crossover with Marvel, and it’s focused on everybody’s favourite frien🀅dly neighbourhood Spider-Man.

As part of the Universes Beyond crossover umbrella brand for Magic, Spider-Man will be💖 bringing his biggest and baddest villains, allies, and probably alternate versions to the TCG when it launches in 2025.

Announced back in October 2023, we knew Marvel 💦would enjoy a full booster set treatment like what we saw for Lord Of The Rings: Tales Of Middle-earth. However, this announcement confirms releases could focus on individual characters and comics, rather than a more zoomed-out view of the Marvel multiverse.

Assuming it follows the same plans as🐓 Lord of the Rings, this set will be legal not just in Commander, Vintage, and Legacy, but also likely in 💙Modern as well. It should receive the full range of Play and Collector boosters, as well as Commander decks and starter products to help entice Spidey fans to the game.

We’ll also probably see Secret Lair🍨 drops announced closer to the time. Spidey’s conspicuous absence in the Marvel Superdrop that was announced at the same panel would be explained by him getting a whole ruck of them later down the line.

The recently released Duskmourn: House Of Horror introduced new support for the Spider creature type, like The Swarmweaver and Twitching Doll. It’d be funny if those cards also play nicely with 🔯Spider-Man somehow.

Spider-Man🤡 is a particularly𒁃 good fit for a Magic set, thanks to not just his huge rogue’s gallery of villains, but also his large number of costumes and entire alternate universes to play with. I’d be shocked if we didn’t see the likes of Miles Morales and Miguel O’Hara swing in alongside Peter Parker, to help give the set a wider net of characters and abilities to play with.

More Marvel To Come

Spider-Man isn’t the first Marvel character to appear in Magic, though. As mentioned, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a Secret Lair superdrop of cards will be the first part of the partnership, and see Wolverine, Black Panther, Rogue, Captain America, and Iron Man get cards months🤪 before Peter Parker crawls in. Those drops also come with some excellent reprints, including Flawless Maneuver, The Ozolith, and Primal Vigor.

Spider-Man won’t be the only Universes Beyond set launching in 2025, as Wizards previously announce🀅d a simil🌱ar released based on the Final Fantasy series is due next year as well.

Universes Beyond has proven to be a massive successಞ since it debuted with The Walking Dead in 2020, and Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth remains the best-selling set of all time, so we shou♛ld expect to see more and more of them on the way.

We do know multi🍃ple Marvel sets are planned too, and with Spider-Man the doors are now wide open for what could be next. X-Men🐼? Avengers? Exiles? Commander Legends: Alpha Flight?

Spider-Man will launch sometime in 2025. For now, the next set due for🐻 release is Foundations, a set meant to introduce new players to th🦹e game and provide a solid base for the game’s primary Standard format.
