The cards in question are a double-sided Peter Parker which flips over into Amazing Spider-Man, while there will⛦ also be an alt ar version of this card too, which is far more comic-focused in terms of aesthetic. The rest of the cards are Spider-Man 2099; Spider-Noir; SP//dr, Piloted by Peni; and a disturbingly realistic Spider-Ham, Peter Porker. On the Marvel side, they showed off a much less Spider-Verse-themed card, that being Origin of Spider-Man.

They all look pretty great, and interestingly enough,ღ Spider-Ham appears to feature a reworked version of a mechanic planned for Bloomburrow called Animal, as it includes all 10 of the main creature types from the se♕t. Now that Universes Beyond is Standard-legal, you could quite easily slot Spider-Ham into any decks you might have.

If you're one of those people that don't much care about Magic: The Gathering's various crossovers, at least you can cross another popular IP off of the list before they're gone for good. That's what head designer Mark Rosewater seemed to suggest earlier this month anyway, as he recently claimed ℱthat Universes Beyond isn't "an endless well", and that there are a finite 🔥number of franchises to cross over with that will be pop🥃ular.
