Eldraine is one of the many Planes from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering. The Plane takes inspiration from many fairy tales throughout time. This is a fantasy-inspired one with a storied history not too unlike a f✱airy tale itself. It is home to the Planeswalkers Rowan and Will Kenrith.
There were once five different courts that ruled Eldraine (Ardenvale, Embereth, Garenbrig, Lochtwain, and Vantress) led by King Kenrith. During the Phyrexian invasion of the multiverse, Eldraine's entire world was thrown in disarray. Though victorious, the citizens of Eldraine continued to feel the effects of the war long after it was over.
Throne Of Eldraine
The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:fae Planeswalker Oko lands on Eldraine from an unknown Plane and immediately runs into fellow Planeswalker Garruk Wildspeaker. Garruk attacks and successfully injures Ok🌄o, who transforms into a stag and escapes. Garruk c🗹hases after Oko but runs into a trap he had set. Here, Oko hypnotizes Garruk to make him his bodyguard, giving him the nickname "Dog."
Meanwhile, the Grand Procession is about to start - a harvest tour of the five courts of Eldraine. The High King Algenus Kenrith is planning on taking his children Rowan and Will. The two siblings are too young to attend themselves 🐎but are able to journey with their parents. Unfortunately, due to distractions, they miss lea🤪ving with their father.
On the way, the Kenrith twins are attacked by a group of redcaps - the gobl💧ins of Eldraine. The twins managed to defeat them and move faster through the woods when they heard a large group coming towards them. They get out of the woods but are cut off by a cliff as the redcaps catch up to them.
When hope seems lost, Oko and Garruk show up and save the Kenriths. Rowan immediately trusts Oko though Rowan is more skeptical about the fae. Both of them💜 are distrustful of Garruk whom Oko orders to not harm them. The Kenriths, Oko, and Garruk team up to make it to the procession.
Search For King Kenrith
Upon arrival, the Kenriths leave to join the rest of the Grand Procession. Meanwhile, Oko transforms himself into King Kenrith's trusted knight Cado, and erases the memory of the twin's encounter with him.
Afterward, Oko manages to capture King Kenrith and flees the scene with him, transforming the High King into a simple stag.
Three months pass and the King is still missing. Rowan and Will decide to search for their father themselves, joined by their two friends Titus and Cerise. Queen Linden and the Kenrith twins' stepmother gives her blessing for the twins' quest, sending Cado along to ensure their safety.
The party leaves their home in Ardenvale to travel to Vantress. They meet the loremage Elowen who joins the party and takes them to Vantress where Will talks to Indrelon - a magic mirror. The mirror shows an image of a stag perched on a mound, Indrelon telling him if they find the stag they'll find their father.
Elowen joins the party as they travel to Garenbrig so they can use the Great Henge's portal. They meet with the King of Garenbrig Yorvo along with Ayara, the Queen of Lochtwain, who is visiting.
Upon leaving through the Great Henge, the party is transported to the Wilds - the outskirts of Eldraine's kingdom not governed by the five kingdoms. Here, Titus is attacked and ultimately killed by a lich. The rest of the party defeats the lich thanks to the arrival of a stag, who assists in the lich's defeat. Upon hearing a hunty party approaching, the stag flees over a bridge.
The Wild Hunt
They arrive at the ruins of an elven city, Rowan and Will becoming separated from the rest of their party. Rowan manages to see the Council of the Druids from the Wilds meeting with Queen Ayara - who is still partaking in the Wild Hunt.
The Wild Hunt is forbidden in the five kingdoms and only occurs in the Wilds where prey is hunted and blood is spilled as a sacrifice. Queen Ayara is trying to keep the peace between the kingdoms and the Wilds, though some of the druids want to go to war under the leadership of a stranger - Oko.
The Kenrith twins run into Oko, who tell🌳s them his goal is to have to citizens oꦐf the Wilds embrace their freedom by getting rid of the kingdoms. Cado and Elowen rejoin the twins and are not persuaded by Oko.
Oko transforms Elowen into an eagle who flies away and traps the rest. Cerise gets captured by Garruk as Oko leaves with the stag. After seeing Elowen turn into an animal and Oko's transmutation powers, Rowan realizes that the stag they took was their father.
Will tries to befriend Garruk and manages to break through to him from talking about fathers. He notices a hedron on Garruk's neck and believes that to be the source of a curse. Will manages to get Cerise to remove it and this does break the curse - but 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:returns the curse of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Chain Veil to him. This corrupts Cado's griffin whom Garruk mercy kills.
The thorns keeping the party trapped wither and Garruk leaves to find Oko and extract revenge. Cado and Cerise leave back through the Great Henge's portal to warn the Queen while the Kenrith twins leave to rescue their father from the Wild Hunt.
The twins run into Garruk on the way, who is drowning as the curse is taking hold of him. Will does everything he can to save him. He summons the Cauldron of Eternity which saves Garruk and allievates him from the Chain Veil's curse.
With a new party member, they all find the stag and do everything they can to protect it. They are assisted by the sudden arrival of the Queen and an army, along with Elowen, who has returned to normal. However, they fail in their mission as Oko, disguised as Queen Ayara, shoots the stag with an arrow and mortally wounds it. Garruk captures Oko but Rowan stops Garruk from killing the fae,𒅌 which allows Oko to planeswalk away before more could be done.
The elves partaking in the Wild Hunt taste the blood of the stag as the ritual of the Wild Hunt comes to a close and they leave. The stag succumbs to its wounds and reverts back to its proper body of Algenus Kenrith.
Linden reveals that the stag was leading the Wild Hunt to the home of their actual birth mother. She revealed that a witch enchanted Algenus and had wanted children to sacrificeꦡ so she had the blood of the innocent. Linden saved Algenus and was able to revive the sacrificed twins with her sword.
The witch was killed and thrown down a well along with the swords that saved the twins. They were able to get Linden's sword back, which still had life in it which allowed them to revive the king.
All of this causes Rowan's planeswalker spark to ignite - and it turns out that Will shares the same spark as they both suddenly planeswalk🐽 away. Garruk assured the King and Queen that he would find the twins and ensure their safety as their protector.
Phyrexian Invasion
Eldraine was not safe from the Phyrexian Invasion of the Multiverse after the Phyrexians 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:successfully created the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Realmbreaker - a tree that could open portals to other Planes. All five kingdoms of Eldraine fell, with King and Queen Kenrith being killed protecting their people.
Not all were killed and others, like the members of Lochtwain (and the castle itself) were compleated and converted into Phyrexians - including Queen Ayara herself.
The Phyrexians were lured into a chasm below Castle Lochtwain through the work of Rankle, who wished it would rain a love potion. Though this helped save lives, the invasion was ultimately stopped by the casting of the Wicked Slumber. This was a curse created by three witch sisters named Agatha, Eriette, and Hylda, and the Lord of the Wilds Talion.
The Wicked Slumber caused all the Phyrexians to fall asleep, but even after the invasion concluded the curse didn't dissipate, and innocent citizens of Eldraine were put into a permanent slumber.
Wilds Of Eldraine
The Kenrith twins returned to Eldraine during the Phyrexian invasion, and were forced to stay there as their Planeswalker spark dissipated - desparked like many across the Multiverse. Will takes up the mantle of king after their father lost his life. The twins travel to a rebel camp to try and work out a deal for peace with the rebel leader Imodaine.
To do so, Will cha🌳llenges her to a fight and it seems like he is about to lose. Rowan intervenes and casts a powerful spell that stops the fight and causes the rebels to flee and the peace deal to fall apart.
Frustrated, the twins return to the castle where Rowan notices how much all these new duties are weighing on her brother. The two have an argument whic💜h causes Rowan to leave to try and take matters in regard to the Wicked Slumber into her own hands.
Will writes to Rowan, hoping to reconcile with his sister. However, Rowan shrugs it off, writing back to Will that "if he was actually serious, he would come find her in person." Rowan goes to Castle Ardenvale where there is a plethora of Phyrexian corpses and knights cursed in eternal slumber. The sleeping knights attack Rowan, but she is able to dispatch them. The Planeswalker Ashiok reveals themselves and takes Rowan to meet Eriette, one of the witches who created the spell.
Eriette reveals that she is Rowan's aunt and that those who were asleep were peaceful and happy. The 👍witch convinces Rowan to join her side, helpin🔯g her with her plans.
The New Hero
Kellan is a half-Fae, half-human boy who is often bullied for his fae side and blamed for the Wicked𒅌 Slumber who dreams of being a hero and finding out who his💯 real father is.
While going out one day, Kellan comes across an ethereal archway - a symbol of an invitation to meet with a high fae. He travels through where he meets the Fae Lord Talion. Tailon tasks Kellan with defeating the three witch sisters Agatha, Eriette, and Hylda so that the Wicked Slumber can come to an end in exchange for information about his father.
He leaves the fae realm and travels to Edgewall where he befriends a human named Ruby, who joins him on his quest as she is searching for her brother Peter. They travel to Dunbarrow together in hopes of finding a witch and Peter, but they are chased🔯 by a wolf knight🉐. Kellan and Ruby manage to escape and come across the cabin of Agatha - a witch they have to defeat.
They enter the cottage where they see a captured knight - Imondane. Kellan, feeling the need to save her, pushes Agatha into her cauldron where she dies and saves Imondane. The wolf knight enters, though is no longer attacking them, and instead removes his helmet to reveal that he is Peter - Ruby's brother, who they were searching for. He was cursed by Agatha and pledges to help Kellan however he needs.
He simply asks Peter to help deliver Agatah's cauldron to Talion. Talion tells him that the next place he has to find 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the magic mirror Indrelon.
Not Of This World
Kellan and Ruby meet a vedalken named Troyan - who was originally from Ravnica and traveled to Eldraine through an omenpath that allowed for travel between Planes. He acted as their guide as they climbed the beanstalk to Stormkeld.
At the top, they see a group of giants dancing, so they sneak around them. However, they are attacked by a giant goose, which alerts one of the giants. That giant captures and interrogates them. They tell the giant the truth, that they seek Indrelon. She is stopped by Yorvo, former king of Garenbrig who had vanished during the Phyrexian invasion, who takes them to Indrelon.
Indrelon requires something it hasn't heard before before it gives back the information the party seeks. Troyan tells it that he wasn't born on Eldraine and the mirror reveals there is a castle of ice in Loch Larent, where Hylda would be located.
While traveling to Loch Larent, they heard the voice of Hylda, who warns them to turn back or else they'd suffer a fatal fate. They are attacked by a warrior and Kellan manages to channel into his fae powers and put them into a sword, which is used to defeat the warrior. However, Kellan is knocked unconscious by the feat.
Ruby carries Kellan on her back as she pushes closer. Ruby tells her Hylda was lashing out and that she was lonely. The icy winds started to affect Ruby as she fell to her knees. She never gives up, and eventually, Hylda reveals herself. Instead of attacking them, she kisses their foreheads, which shields them from the cold. Hylda tells Ruby she was c꧅orrect as the two fall asleep and are taken back to her castle.
Family Reunion
Once they awaken, Hylda surrenders her crown to the two as a symbol of her defeat, to deliver it back to Talion. Hylda tells them about how and why the Wicked Slumber came to be. She explained it was only meant to stop the Phyrexians, but Eriette was the one who ensured it kept spiraling out of control. Eriette is currently at Castle Ardenvale.
Kellan and Ruby travel to Castle Ardenvale happy to see Rowan Kenrith there, believing she is on their side. However, Rowan is working again🧸st them and warns them to turn and leave. They refuse as Ro🌞wan knocks them both out.
Rowan was trying to use magic on Kellan but he was saved by the arrival of Will Kenrith and his cavalry. Ruby wakes Kellan up as they join the fight.
Among the calvary is Imodane, who had joined forces with Will. Rowan꧒ promises to protect Eriette from the attackers. Will tries to reason with Rowan but f✃ails as they engage in combat.
While Will and Rowan fight, Kellan and Ruby make it to Eriette and start attacking her. Ashiok returns and uses those in slumber to attack the invaders. Kellan breaks off from the fight with Eriette to attack Ashio𝕴k.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rowan believes ♊she has fully ov♋erpowered Will; his whole army has fallen asleep. Will shoots a bolt of ice at Rowan, who easily dodges it and taunts Will. However, Will wasn't aiming for Rowan at all: he struck Ashiok in the chest. Kellan wasn't trying to defeat Ashiok, just keep them in place long enough for Will to land the perfect blow.
Injured, Ashiok planeswalks away. Once the smoke from this dissipates, Rowan sees that Ruby has defeated Eriette, holding a knife to her throat. Eriette assures Rowan that they won't kill her, and Rowan sees this as a point of no return. She channels her power and shoots it down, fleeing the scene.
As everything dies down, control of Castle Ardenvale is rec🐟laimed. Will extends an open invitation for Kellan and Ruby to visit wheneve♕r they like, though is distant and thinking about Rowan. Kellan slips out and meets with Talion one final time. However, he denies wanting to hear about his father, instead returning home so he could hear it from his mother.
Kellan's Father
Kellan's mother reveals that his father is the fae Oko, who wasn't from Eldraine - but from another world where fae lived. However, everyone treated his mother poorly due to her being a witch. Oko wanted to take her back to his home Plane but couldn't, and was enraged by Kellan's mother's treatment on Eldarine. He hurt people and this led to her leaving Oko.
Kellan wandered afterward, coming across a strange portal. It wasn't like the one that took him to Talion's realm, but looked as though it led to another world entirely. It was an omenpath, Kellan believing it might be Oko's way of reaching out to him. Kellan walks through the omenpath to see what's on the other side.
Ashiok returns to Eldraine in the cell where Eriette is being kept. They tell Eriette that a new opportunity requires them to travel somewhere far away. Eriette questions about Rowan but Ashiok tells her that Rowan isn't ready for what they need to do. Eriette figured that Rowan would be fine to leave alone as Ashiok broke Eriette out of prison, traveling to somewhere unknown.
