Force of Vigor gets around any 🗹mana costs by letting you exile a green card from your hand instead of paying for its mana cost,🍬 much like the original Force of Will counterspell from Alliances.

Force of Vigor might not be as fla𒉰shy or as impactful as other spells in the Force of line, but blowing up two artifacts or enchantments for zero mana is a pretty darn good trade still.

9 Leyline Binding - Textur⛎ed Foil

One of the better artworks to be found in the Breaking News, Leyline Binding, features a lone cowboy tied up on some tracks, with a ♉train barreling down towards them. The image evokes some classic Western film tropes, while still making it feel very much𒅌 like a real and terrifying scenario that could happen in Outlaw Junction.

Leyline Binding is a great removal spell, though it does take a very specific style of deck to be able to play it. Givenꦬ the number of dual and tri lands running around Magic right now, it’s not hard at a🍎ll to be able to cast it for two or even one mana more often than not.

A rather strange case from Outlaws of Thunder Junction, Tarnation Vista is a land that isn’t very good but is fetching a rather high price compared to other cards from the set, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:possibly because of Commander hype. When it comes into play, and it enters tapped mind you, you pick a color. You can tap it to add one m🌱ana of that single color, or you can pay one to tap it to add one mana for each color amo🐈ng single color permanents you control.

It seems like a lot of steps to get, at most, five mana, which makes the justification for the high pric🌃e rather hard to make. Not to mention, you have to get several permanents out in play that are only one color, meaning if you want to make the most of it you’d need five monocolored permanents out at once.

7 Vau🌸ltborn Tyrant - Showcase - Raised Foil

Outlaws of Thunder Junction has all sorts of p▨owe🐻rful green spells, with green mythic creatures being particularly good in the set. Vaultborn Tyrant is no exception to this either, being one of the better creatures to be released in some time.

Seven mana is a bit hefty to be sure, but it does so much that it's easy to justify the cost. Vaultborn Tyrant draws you cards, gains you life, and sticks around after dying in the form of an artifact creature token. Vaultborn Tyrant might cause more trouble in other formats, like Commander, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:especially s♛ince it’s a Dinosaur. Either way, it’l෴l be a hot commodity for a long time.

6 ♌ Oko, Thief Of Crowns - Textured Foil 𝕴

Breaking News - $141.29

Look who’s back causing trouble in Magic, it’s the terror of 2019, Oko, Thief of Crowns, but this time with some fancy new artwork. The good thing about Oko returning in the Breaking News section of the set is that Oko isn’t legal in Standard again unle♚ss you happen to open it in your Limited pool, then you can play it to your heart’s content.

The artwork for this variant is amazing, especially when you check the background and see the multipl💧e Elks there, who may or may not be different people Oko has transformed.

5 Loot, The Key To Everything - Showcase - Raised Foil ♓

The Big Score - $174.62

Loot is a powerful card, giving you all sorts of card advantage just by being in play. You get a lot of potential draw power off of Loot, giving you at least one extra card per turn assuming you have at least something els♕e besides lands in play.

Commander players love the card since it becomes much easier to accelerate out permanents of all other eight nonland card 🉐types, with the exception of maybe Battles, sinc💝e they’re a little more unique than other card types.

4 Mindbreak Trap - T♋extured Foil

Breaking News - $180.81

Another free𝕴 spell graces this list, though one that works very differently than Force of Vigor. If one of your opponents has cast three or more spells in a single turn, you can pay zero mana for Mindbreak Trap.

Casting it causes a very strange thing to occur. You get to exile any number of spells that are currently being cast. Mindbreak Trap is a great way to put a stop to a counterspell war, an infinite spell combo, or just to disrupt your opponent’s plans if thꦑey’re casting a bunch of spells.

3 Sword Of Wealth And Power - Showca🍸se - Raised Foil

The Big Score - $230.54

If you were wondering where Magic was going to go with the Sword of series, you no longer have to worry about that with Outlaws of Thunder Junction. Sword of Wealth and Power grants the usual +2/+2 stat bonus, while also giving the equipped creature protection from instants and sorceries꧑, turning off the majority of removal spells in Magic.

Even better, Sword of Wealth and Power makes a Treasure token when the equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, and then you get to copy the next spell you cast this turn. It’s harder to get a creature with this Sword to connect with an opponent since it doesn’t give you any immediate prote🥀ction from permanents in play.

2 Lotus Ring - Showcasꦯe - Raised Foil

Anytime Magic prints a card with the word Lotus in the name, it is almost guaranteed to pull a🧔t a high price and Lotus Ring is no exception. The Ring costs three mana to cast and takes another three mana to equip.

Once it’s equipped, it gives the creature +3/+3, vigilance, and then you can tap and sacrifice the creature to add three mana of one color. It might take some setup to get go꧋ing, but being able to repeatedly sacrifice a creature to keep equipping the Lotus Ring to something might have a c𝓰ombo there.

Countering a spell always feels good in a Magic game, but countering one and then getting refunded a bunch of mana on your next turn feels even better. Mana Drain has been one of the most elusive counter spells in Magic’s history,ജ havౠing a limited number of printings until relatively recently.
