While this recursion would be great on its own, the effect that forces your opponent creatures to be exiled is great🤪 too. This gets rid of a creature's death trigger, as well as prevents⭕ your opponent from utilizing them in the graveyard. Both effects on Liesa provide a ton of value, and it's one of the best Angel cards out there.

The Gitrog Monster is easy to cast and provides a lot of value, all while having solid stats. The cost to sacrifice a land at the upkeep is mandatory, but you'll always get a card from that happening thanks to its other effect. It's best paired with cards that can🍷 play lands from the graveyard.

Midrange Staple

Bloodtithe Harvester has an all-star of midrange deck🌌s in Standard when it was legal there, and continues to be a staple in Pioneer in just about every kind of midrange deck playing red and black. It has great stats for low value, making it a threatening creature in combat during the early stages of the game.

Bloodtithe Harve🌊ster is a card that gives you a ton of value for just two mana. The Blood token can be used to either cycle a card away, or to destroy a creature by giving it negative stats with Bl🌳oodtithe Harvester's sacrifice ability.

Once Edgar Markov hits the battlefield, it can start growing your Vampire in stats. As if Edgar Markov waওsn't already good enough, it also has haste, letting you attack with it the same turn you cast it to massive grow all of your Vampires.
