That means it'll be around for five years as opposed to the usual three, serving almost like a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hearthstone Core set to lay a more consistent foundation for the game that's approachable to everyone, made up of Planeswalkers "with quintessential magic from across the Multiverse" that you'll be able to use in competitive play.

However, MTG head designer Mark Rosewater teased on 🦄that Foundations might be around for even longer than that.

On his blo𝕴g, Mark Rosewater was asked by a fan if there would be a second Foundations se🎶t in 2029 given that it expires that year.

Rosewater replied, "2029 means 'at least until 2029'. We could extend it. We have to see how everything plays out."

So, there's a chance that Foundations remains the core of Magic: The Gathering not just for the next five years, but beyond that. It would certainly help standardise the game by giving it a clearer foundation, helping onboard newcomers who haven't played before and want to dip their toes into the world of MTG.

🐼Foundations releases on November ไ15, 2024, and Wizards of the Coast promises that it will "share more about this upcoming set soon".
