168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering's secret lair crossover with Final Fantasy isn't releasing until June 13, but we've already 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:seen quite a few of the cards. As you might expect, the♋ community's theorycrafters have already bee🍒n hard at work figuring out powerful card combinations.
One of the most exciting cards releasing with the set is Noctis, Prince of Lucis—the protagoꦫnist of Final Fantasy 15 and potentially a menace to Magic: The Gathering p⛄layers in the years to come. Noctis is a 4/3 White/Blue/Black hybrid with Lifelink, with an ability that reads, "You may cast artifact spells from your graveyard by paying 3 life in addition to paying their other costs. If you cast a spell this way, that artifact enters with a finality counter on it."
Noctis' personal journey in Final Fantasy 15 is centred ar🥃ound him wielding the weapons of past monarchs, making a focus on artifacts thematically appropriate for the character.
And We've Broken It...
A user named has already discovered a very powerful combo using Noctis, which they describe as "broken". The combo 🐎involves the cards Aetherflux Reservoir and Mox Diamond, along with Noctis.
Aetherflux Reservoir is an artifact that gives the player one life for every spell they cast during a turn, every time they cast a spell during that turn. Mox Diamond is an artifact that costs z♛ero mana that ꦓoffers you a choice when it comes into play: discard a land or sacrifice Mox Diamond. You may see where this is going.
Witꦦh Aetherflux Reservoir and Noctis on the board, and Mox Diamond iꦦn the graveyard, you can generate infinite health. This is done by using Noctis' ability to play Mox Diamond from the graveyard, which costs three health, and declining to sacrifice a land, sending it back to the graveyard.
Crucially, if you choose not to discard a land, Mox Diamond never enters the battlefield. This means it won't receive a finality counter, which would cause Mox Diamond to be exiled rather than returning to the graveyard, renderꦕing it unusable for Noctis.
Simply repeat this process, next time paying 3ꦕ life to gain 2 life, and then 3 life to gain 3🍨 life and so on.. You can then generate infinite health and use Aetherflux Reservoir's ability to one-shot every other player in the game. As you probably guessed, there are tons of other cards that an infinite combo like this can be useful for.
Magic: The Gathering's highly♈ ant♌icipated Final Fantasy set will release on June 13.
