Where The Kappa Roam Side Case Walkthrough
After Yokohama 99 has been attacked during Chapter Four, a brand new side case will appear alongside the river on N Sakura River St. — two men are 𒐪fighﷺting and one appears to have... a kappa statue?
Intervene and then defeat the drunk guy with the kappa statue. The other man will introduce himself as Kazutoshi Kodama and will explain that he has been placing new kappa statues throughout𒐪 the city as photo opportunities, however, before they could even announce the new campaign could even be announced — the statues wen🌜t missing!
He asks that you track the missing statues down — there are seven in total that have gone AWOL, not𓄧 including theܫ one you just found.
Go onto Buzz Researcher and use the keyword "kappa" to identify some leads.
First Kappa Statue
Your first lead mentions someone carrying one just south of Tsurukame Hwy. near the hobo camp. The first can be found being carried around the road that l🎉aps around the hobo camp. Interact with him and then chase him down to secure this kapp🦩a. Six left to go!
Second Kappa Statue
Your next leads tell you about a kappa that has been thrown away. It can be found towards the southern end of E. Central Street in the trash.
Third Kappa
Other posts on Chatter mention kappa twins. Head to the southern end of S Sakura River St. to find the foam Kappa stood next to the real de🌺al stone statue. Four left to go!
Fourth Kappa
Posts discussing there being a kappa in the water is your next lead. Go to just north of Ichiban Confections on the left side of the map and help the fisherman haul in his catch but making the blue bar. Surprise! It's a kappa!
Fifth Kappa
Chatter posts are talking about a hobo with a kappa, but if you have a look around the hobo camp you won't be able to find it. At the north of the hobo camp just below Tsurukame Bridge, stand and ℱlisten to the two hobos discussing cake to learn that one of the kappas was sold to a pawn shop.
Head south, down to Benten Pawn on Misaki St. and you can purchase the kappa for ¥100.
Sixth Kappa
Head to the northwestern section of the map, where the Drone racing is, and exami💧ne the kappa statue in the football goal to 🐬save it from its fate.
Seventh Kappa
Try as you might to look around the city, you won't find this final kappa out on the streets. Simply head to Yokohama 99 and go inside — surprise! The last kappa is on the sofa! You'll also learn why the kappas were going missing.
