168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii has delighted fans of RGG Studio's beloved series as they once again get to play as fan-favourite character Goro Majima. M🅷ajima has been entertaining fans since his first appearance in the original Yakuza, and now we finally have a game wholly dedicated to the Mad Dog of Shimano.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a spin-off title that sees an amnesiac Majima wash up on an island near 💖Hawaii. As these things tend to go, Majima then becomes the captain of a pirate crew and becomes embroiled in a conflict with other pirates and of course, ex-yakuza from Japan.

Why Majima Has Amnesia

In an interview with , RGG Studio director and Like a Dragon executive producer Masayoshi Yokoyama touched on their decision to give Majima amnesia before the events of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. According tܫo Yokoyama, Majima is someone who masks his true feelings in order to live up to the image other people have of him. By taking away Majima's sense of self, we can see who the real Majima is behind the persona he's built up.

Yokoyama adds that Majima is a "tough dude who likes to fantasise a lot" and we'll learn this by seeing his interactions with Noah Rich, the child who🤪 saves him afterꦉ finding him washed up. Majima is an unconventional protagonist, which is why the amnesia is necessary to balance him out.

"His unpredictability, while not the norm,✅ is what sets him apart and makes him intriguing. When a character like Majiꦰma becomes the protagonist, it creates a discrepancy between actions and emotions; when you get frustrated in a scene, but Majima does not even look bothered, you may feel confused," Yokoyama explains.

"To avoid that, we would need a neutral character who could act the way players anticipate from a protagꦫonist. But the downside is that we’d end up with a boring protagonist. We gave Kiryu and Kasuga additional personalities to build them into protagonists, but if we did that to Majima, he’d turn out to be a boring guy. To make him a protagonist, we only had two options: amnesia or travel back in time. Without amnesia, Majima wouldn’t have worked as a protagonist," he concludes.

We don't have to wait long to get answers abou๊t Majima's amnesia as Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii releases February 28, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Se🅘ries X/S and PC.
