Some of the folks he runs into have some serious problems, but that doesn't stop Kasuga from reaching out and offering a hand to them.
How To Start Love And Punishment
This substory becomes available once you've reached Chapter 6: Puppet on a String, and you can start it by making your way over to Night St. on the western side of Honolulu, and you'll find the location right by Cigars In Heaven or the Night St. taxi stand.
At the entrance to the alleyway, you'll find a blonde woman in a pink dress. Speak with her, and she'll explain what's happened to her. After asking if she needs help, the blonde woman will ask if she can stay the night with him for safety, and this will officially start the substory.
How To Help Emmy
You'll get two choices, staying with her and choosing not to, and you'll need to say you want to stay with her to progress.
They end up talking about each other, and partway through the conversation, Emmy will ask what Kasuga thinks of her, and you'll have a Personality Chance with three potential answers.
- Answering "You need company." will increase your Passion by 50.
- Answering "You're a cute little kitty..." will increase your Style by 30.
- Answering "I barely know you." will increase your Charisma by 20.
Emmy will appreciate any of the answers and buy Kasuga an🐈other drink after that, but at this point, all of those drinks are not doing Kasuga any favors.
Kasuga will tip over onto the counter, and you'll get another choice of answers as a Volume Selection.
Depending on how much you increase the gauge, Kasuga will give a different answer, but these answers don't give any personality points, so you can pick any you like.
The next drink Kasuga gets from Emmy will put him unconscious, and you'll wake up outside the bar with about 600 dollars of cash missing from your wallet.
After asking several passersby, a man approaches Kasuga, and it turns out he does know Emmy.
The man is an old friend of Marian, Emmy's true identity, and they used to be friends in the past but drifted apart. He's worried about Marian and her behavior, and Kasuga offers to find Marian for the now-named Zack.
Zack suggests that Marian might be in an alleyway on Pearl Ave, and you'll need to head there next.
How To Find Marian
Pearl Ave is on the western edge of Honolulu, so head over there on foot or use the S Pearl Ave taxi stand, and you'll get a cutscene upon arriving of Marian walking down into the alley.
Follow Marian into the alleyway and speak with her for another cutscene, but their conversation quickly gets interrupted by a man calling her Sophia.
The man takes a swing at Kasuga, and you'll end up having to fight him. He'll be around level 25 and doesn't have any backup for the fight. Once you defeat him, the man runs off, and Kasuga will confront Mari😼an again.
After more conversation, you learn more about Marian and her son Kyle, and eventually, Zack will come by. Zack offers to help Marian improve her life, and she promises to tꦍhink about it.
To progress, you'll need to let some time pass in-game, and you can do this by completing a main story quest or two.
How To Complete Love And Punishment
After around a day has passed in in-game time, you'll be able to progress. Make your way over to Anaconda Harbor Park, and you'll find Zack and Kyle together in the grass.
After some conversation, Kasuga wants to check on Marian, so head back to Pearl Ave. to the same alleyway as before. Turns out a shady cop is involved in Marian's situation too, and you'll have to fight him when he tries to kill Marian.
The Shady Cop is level 25, and he fights similarly to other gun-wielding Lowlife enemy types, but with more health and a weakness to Lightning.
Once you defeat him, some other cops will arrive and end up taking Danny in, alon🌟g with giving Marian time to speak to Zack and Kyle༺.
You'll get five Fancy Free Magazines and a Platinum Plate as a reward from Marian, and after one last cutscene, yoꦛu'll com𒀰plete the substory.
