features a Japan teetering at the brink of the Tokugawa Shogunate's last days. Amidst all the political and social instability is one man named Sakamoto Ryoma, who may as well be 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:more of a legend than he is a man. Name changes aside, Ryoma kept hi♓s strong se💃nse of right and wrong throughout the journey.
The main story is a lot to take in, and you're probably wondering what's next in store for Ryoma. But there's still much to poke around with the other characters themselves, as well as parts of the plot which you wish you could get answers for. This article 🥀contains spoilers for Like A Dragon: Ishin. Read at your own risk.
11 Does Omiya Ever Become Operational? 🌼
Teradaya Inn is great, and it's a cozy inn for anybody who's played the game. But was Omiya built all for the sake of one operation? It might not be appealing for it to have been a proxy battleground between the Shinsengumi and the forces of Takechi, but it's still a spacious inn that just need a few repairs.
Otose doesn't have a problem with the property being unsalvageable if it meant saving Kyoto, but even Okita, who was typically unreserved in battle, had to ask twice if it was alright to go wild with their swords in the place. Regardless, its structure still seems intact—which means the property probably still has a future.
10 ♑ Is Haruka Still Okay? 💟
In this substory, Ryoma pays off Haruka's debts in exchange for free board and lodging. But even if her debts were paid off, she did have a history of being sickly and is still too young to work—this makes her way of living a real mystery. That, or we just can't relate to how people lived in Edo Japan.
Let's hope that she's okay, even if we don't get to see her a lot, since you probably spent most of your time at Teradaya Inn. Now that the man who lifted her out of debt is wandering outside of Kyoto, she's probably all on her own now. Her home has a bunch of radishes though, so maybe she does live off of planting crops on the front lawn.
9 Did Oryo's Mother Get Better?
One of the turning points in the main story is Oryo's revelation, and how she's actually taking care of her ailing mother all on her own. Her father was killed by the Shinsengumi early on, and that left her and her mother to fend for themselves. Despite this being pivotal to her story, we don't really get to know if her mother gets better.
Judging from how Oryo's able to travel along with Ryoma in the ending, maybe she did get better, and Oryo was freed of duties quite a bit. But we can only hope that to be the case, since it wasn't mentioned again.
8 𒅌 Why Was Kondo Not Attending The Shinsengumi Meetings?
Hijikata had always reasoned that Kondo is a busy man. So busy, that he couldn't be at the center of meetings, and was even believed by others within the Shinsengumi to be dead. This caused schism within the group, and revealed the intentions of several captains within the Shinsengumi.
But if he spared even a bit of his time to go in person on the meetings, maybe a series of unfortunate events would have been prevented. A little bit of assurance was needed by the captains and the troops of🍌 Shinsengumi, and it was scarce with the leader barely showing up.
7 Doꦉ All Shinsengumi Members Go Tꦦhrough Standard Tryouts?
Going through the game, you'll find that even the Shinsengumi cuts those who have connections some slack — at least, that's the case with this Akimoto guy. He got into the Shinsengumi through connections, which begs the question: are the standard tryouts of the Shinsengumi held by different captains?
When Ryoma got into the Shinsengumi, he had to fight off Nagakura, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:it wasn't an easy fight for an average man. It's hard to believe that a guy like Akimoto, who isn't cut out for the Shinsengumi world, would've been able to withstand such a fight.
6 💞Why Did Takechi Retire?
Takechi fought long and hard for his ideals to be a reality, even going as far as almost losing them in the process. You're probably happy that the power of love and friendship brought him back on the right track, but it's a shock to hear that he retired after only two years of being President of Domestic Affairs.
Is it because he was able to make his adoptive father's dream happen? Is it because he was already satisfied, and understands that there is no need for him to continue as a figure in Japanese politics? We'll never know, but it's nice to see that he's living a good life full of great sake after all that happened.
5 What Positions Did Katsura And Saigo Adopt After The Restoration? ও
Katsura was notorious for having a ton of name changes, like many of the characters in the game. But after Takechi retired from his post, Katsura mentions that he needs to pick up paperwork and has been busy. We can only assume that he's also a part of the government now in a high-ranking position, if he didn't adopt Takechi's role.
But Saigo's role after the war isn't really talked about, and he's just as important as Katsura in the effort of avoiding war. We can only assume that he's still playing an active role in government, most likely still in military since that is his expertise — but that remains unconfirmed.
4 ✅ 🍬 What Happened To The Shinsengumi?
In an era of peace, with the Tokugawa Shogunate no longer in power, it seems that the Shinsengumi has come to an end. Although it's implied that they 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:we༺re able to survive their last ordeal and didn't meet their end the same way that their real-life counterparts did, it's still worth asking what happened to the rest of the gang, and if they're all alive and well.
We're not even sure 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:if the renowned Wolves of Mibu are still in business, with their numbers greatly reduced, and with virtually no backing left. We can only imagine that they're living their best life somewhere, since they did deliver judgment to a traitor.
3 🧸 What Identity Did Ryoma Choose To Live With? ไ
The official story is that Sakamoto Ryoma died at Omiya, but the truth is that the real Ryoma lives on — we're just not sure as who. With the Shinsengumi's fate being a mystery as well, we can't assume that he's gone off to live as Third Division Captain, Saito Hajime. The ending also shows him without his signature blue haori.
So he may have moved on from both identities, or isn't living as Ryoma for sure, given the events of the game. Whatever name he adopted now isn't that important even if it's a point of mystery, what matters is that he gets a happy ending.
2 Will ꦇWe Ever Get Over This Dance Craze? 𒆙
The answer is no, probably not. The first time we encountered the "ee ja nai ka" (why not) movement, even Ryoma has been swept up by it to the point that he momentarily forgot about the person he was going to help against two goons. We can't blame him either, it's so catchy and feel-good.
He probably should stay away from them if he doesn't want to break into dance at random. But there's no harm in being swept up in a random dance group in the streets of Kyoto, right?
