How Does Skill Inheritance Work?

Skill Inheritance is an open-ended means for you to take skills from one job class and carry them over to another. While Yakuza: Like A Dragon automated this process, and only allowed you to transfer certain skills, Infinite Wealth doesn't limit you in this regard and, instead, allows you to swap in and out nearly any skill you so choose. You may use your Skill🅘♕ Inheritance slots as you like.

The one exception is that you are limited from inheriting the ultra-powerful🍨, rainbow-colored skills.

How Do I Unlock The Skill Inheritance Slots?

This is really two questions: "How do I gain the ability🍃 to use Skill Inheritance Slots" and "How do I unlock more slots". We'll tackle the initial unlocking part first.

For starters, you won't be able to do anything with your Skill Inheritance slots until you unlock the ability to change jobs. While Kasuga gets a second job pretty early in the game, that doesn't count. You need to complete the "Let's Get Alo-Happy!" Substory in Chapter 4, then you will be able to swap out skills in the𒁃 change room.

Conveniently, once you have completed the "Let's Get Alo-Happy!" Substory, you will find that there are changerooms all over the map, you can change your skills (and jobs) at any of these.

How Do I Get More Skill Inheritance Slots?

The skill slots are tethered directly to a party member's bond with the party leader. So, the higher your bond, the more skills you will be able to transfer between jobs. There is a lot that goes in🍎to improving your bonds, but as long as you eat at restaurants regularly, seek out Combo Meals, engage in Party Chats, and trigger as many Walk And Talks as possible, you will find that your bond grows pre𒅌tty quickly.

Universally, you will unlock a new Skill Inheritance Slot when your bond with a character reaches level 10, 30, 40, 50, 70, and 100.
