It only makes sense for to have pop culture references sprinkled throughout the adventure. It takes place in the real world, after all. To its credit, though, the game does not lean on them, and when they do show up, they often aren't rubbed in your face.

The singer has a connection to Hawaii and performed one of hi𝔍s most famous concerts there: The Aloha From Hawaii concert, which was broadcast live to many countries via satellite.

While many of these songs are identified as Elvis Presley songs, he didn't write his songs and many others had hits with the same songs, including the original writer.

Sujimon is a minigame based around collecting the titular Sujimon and battling them against other trainers. Other than the basic concept being an homage to the popular Pokemon series, there are more references to it wit꧅hin the substory. The Sujimon Sensei, for example, refers to Hawaii as the land of the Sun and Moon.

Several of his lines are also variations of popular Pokemon phrases. Kasuga even almost calls him out when Sujimon Sensei almost directly quotes the Pokemon Theme's lyrics.

Sicko Sn𓆉ap is also a clear parody of Pokemon Snap.

5 The Action Star Job💫 Is A Clear Bruce Lee Reference

This is similar to the Sexy Jutsu from the Naruto series, which attempts the same form of deception. In Naruto, the titular character transforms into a woman to try to distract his opponent. Sometimes it doesn't work as intended, though.

3 There's A Lot Of Dragon Quest Talk Throughout The Game
