Earning Money Early

So, obviously "early" is relative. As an example, we found the Crazy Delivery minigame to be a reasonably effective way to earn money early, but that doesn't open up until the third chapter of the game. Additionally, once you have a little money, you can increase it four-fold by playing Mahjong. But you need money first bef𒈔ore you can enter a mah♏jong tournament.

One way to make some quick cash as of the first chapter is to hunt for all the valuables strewn around the town. But not all these items are created equal! You will get valuables from briefcases, herbs from grassy areas, and metal fragments from trash. You will also be able to score some poඣcket change by scavenging around vending machines.

For the most effective ways to line your pockets, focus on briefcases and scavenging around vending machines. Herbs d❀on't sell for much money, but you can find plenty of reasonably valuable (100 yen) Iron Plates in briefcases. You will findไ a few Bronze Plates, which go for 1,000 yen ($10), as well. If you are lucky, you may even stumble upon a few Silver Plates worth 10,000 yen ($100).

Iron Fragments also fetch a decent 300 yen ($3) and are pretty commonly found around garbage cans. Electric, Lava, Ice, and Rainbow Fragments all sell for 100 yen each ($1). However, if you sell all your weapon crafting materials now, you🐻 may find yourself regretting that decision a little later when you need to upgrade your weapons.

While briefcases respawn, the scavenging areas in front of vending൲ machines do not.

Equipment Buying Recommendations

Money isn't overwhelmingly plentiful in the early chapters of Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. So, unless you are grinding up a storm, you aren't likely to be in a position where you can waltz into any shop and kit out your party with the snazziest gear. That being said, you will acquire gear by a wide assortment of methods. If you are eagle-eyed and search every nook and cranny, that will include finding stuff lying around in dungeons.

Typically, you will find armor. So, when spending money, we recommend focusing on weapons first. If you have money left over, accessories are also a good place to plonk down some cash, as they are better long-term investments. As for healing items, you'll find that you can pick up a number of recovery items during your travels, so we wouldn't invest too heavily in ꦐpurchasing energy drinks if you are low on cash.

One potential exception to this rule is that you don't want Kasuga to be fragile. If he dies, it is game over. So, if you find that he is taking a lot of damage, armor for Kasuga is a priority.

How To Grind More Efficiently

While Infinite Wealth does not require the player to endlessly grind, it does feature a job system, and if you want to get the most out of all these jobs, you may find yourself wanting to accumulate those job points. However, while you can grind anywhere, some locations are better to do so in than others. In Ijincho, as an example, you can regenerate all your party's HP and MP for free at the homeless encampment.

However, you will also find yourself in situations where you want to get a little grinding in but don't have a health-restoring location nearby. Something you can do to help maximize your grinding efficiency is to keep an eye on your party's MP in relation to their level. If a character is about to level up, you can start using their skills more freely, as a character's HP and MP are fully restored after they gain a level.

Play Minigames To Get Powerful Equipment Early

A number of minigames will allow you to redeem their own unique currency for rewards. These rewards will include some fun stuff like CDs for your playlists, or blueprints for your Dondoko Island settlement, but there will also be pieces of equipment on offer. If you want an early advantage, this is one of the best places to get one, as you can pick up some pretty great equipment very early. Better yet, all it will cost✨ you is a little time investment in a fun side activity.

You can get a pretty potent weapon for Kasuga at m Hold 'em as of the second chapter in the game. However, as of the third chapter, you can get great gear for your whole party from the Crazy Delivery minigame. These full gear sets are likely to be far better than anything you will be able to afford at the point in the game where Crazy Delivery becomes available, and all they'll cost you is a few delivery points. This gear isn't that expensive either, so it won't take you too many successful delivery runs to purchase everything you'll need!

Utilize Meal Combo Buffs

One of the mainstay elements of every Like A Dragon game is the restaurant hopping aspect and Infinite Wealth isn't an exception to this rule. Not only will you be able to replenish HP and MP at your favorite eatery, but you will also build your bonds with your party members by sharing a meal. Additionally, if you 𒀰utilize special food combos, you can give yourself a number of useful buffs.

Food combos can also help solve your money proble🍰ms, as you can improve your item drop rates, thus, giving you more opportunities to stuff your pockets.

You can have three buffs active at a time. So, you can mix and match your buffs; especially if you are around a cluster of restaurants. Initially, you will see the combo's name, and how many items it consists of. Once you have successfully ordered a combo, the recipe will be saved (and will show in the bottom right corner of the screen). Each combo's name is a hint at what items it consists of. However, if you have the cash, you can just order everything at once, which will inevitably reveal all the combos.

Manage Your Bonds

While Kasuga's primary development will be by way of Personality Challenges, the rest of the cast develops by way of their bond with Kasuga. The stronger a character's bond, the more assist-based actions they will take in battle. However, by increasing their bond levels, they will also unlock skill inheritance slots. These play a big 🉐role in enhancing their strength.

Just engaging in battles will increase your bond, as will eating at restaurants. However, these are relatively incremental. However, this is nothing in comparison to the massive amount of points gained from getting a Bond Bingo. You will fill out a character's Bond Bingo chart by collecting Walk & Talk conversations on the map. These are indicated by a heart. You will benefit greatly by seeking these outꦺ as quickly as possible!

Naturally, giving allies gifts is another way to improve your bond with them. If you pay attention to the Walk & Talk segments, you will be able to easily target which gifts will have the most impact on your bond.

Switching On Easy Mode

While there aren't traditional difficulty options in Infinite Wealth, you are provided with enough options that you can assemble your own easier difficulty setting. For starters, setting the "Battle Speed" to slow in the "Game Settings" menu is itself a pseudo-easy mode. Instead of outright altering how much damage you do, or your enemy's attacks inflict, like a traditional easy mode, the slow setting will give you more time to react to the action prompts, and follow up on downed enemies. This will make positioning in combat easier and give you 🎉more time to consiꦬder your actions.

Additionally, you can turn off the QTE sections associated with skills by setting "Action Prompts" to off. This makes it impossible to hit for max damage, and removes any threat of you getting over-excited and flubbing the timing. That being said, ꦑit does remove a bit of the fun factor, so✅ before toggling these off, we'd try them on for size first.

Turning Action Prompts off will also rem😼ove QTEs from cutscenes.

Make The Most Of Your Segway And Unlock Quick Travel Points Fast

Pretty early in the game, you will acquire a handy-dandy Segway. This is a pretty solid way of getting around, as it is quick enough to zip past most enemies. However, the best way to travel around any of the locations in Infinite Wealth will be by the relatively inexpensive taxi cabs littering every city. But you can't fast travel by taxi until you have uncovered their respective stops on the map.

Here is where that Segwey comes in! Hop onto it and start circling every block. You will be able to avoid all fights, and you will unlock all those precious taxi stops. You only need to do thi🐈s once, and you will be able to zip around the town from that point forward.
