7

That's not to say that every sentence uttered in the games is pure genius. But more often than not, the series can elevate already exciting mom💟ents with a few excellent lines. This happens more regularly during serious scenes as the 🦋writers of each game tend to be better at delivering powerful quotes instead of funny ones. Here are the best examples.

Updated October 21, 2024 By Ben Jessey: A new Life Is Strange game is almost here. So, now is the perfect time to look at some of the best lines that made the previous games in the series so beloved. We already had a list for that, so we've returned to it to add some more quotes to the collection.

Warnin🐽g! Spoilers ahead for each Life is 🐼Strange game.

12 "Excitement’s A Mere Counterfeit Of Bliss.🐠"

Chloe Price (Life Is Strange: Before The Storm)

Life Is Strange Before The Storm screenshot of Chloe in her outfit during the Tempest play.

One of the best scenes in Life Is Straജnge: Before The Storm features Chloe and Rachel performing together in Blackwell's version of The Tempest. It gets particularly good when the two ditch their script and have a conversation while sticking to the vernacular expected of a Shakespeare play.

In the process, Chloe is able to deliver an excellent line in which she calls excitement a “counterfeit of bliss.” It’s a൩ fancy way of saying that excitement and happiness aren’t the same thing, and just because the idea of something is exciting doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do. This line works in regard to the plan for Rachel and Chloe to run away together, and it’s also a poignant quote in general.

11 "We Already Met Twice. Why Not More? Even If We Don't, We'll Be F***ing Cool Memories In Each Other's Mind!"

Cassidy (Life Is Strange 2)

Cassidy is one of the most interesting people Sean meets in Life Is Strange 2. She is a free spirit and very laid back. To put it simply, she💧 is much cooler than Sean. After all, she even makes difficult goodbyes seem cool.

“Cool memories in each other’s mind” is a br🐓illiant way to look at a goodbye. Yes, it doesn’t soften the blow of losing someone, but it does put a more positive spin on it.

10 "Sometimes People Need You, Though. Even When They Don't Admit It."

William Price (Life Is Strange: Before The Storm)

Some of the most emotional-charged moments in Before The Storm come when Chloe has imaginary conversations with her deceased father, William. Along with bringing you to tears, a few of the scenes also help Chloe in her cu♛rrent situation.

For instance, at one point, she gets i🌸nto a big fight with Rachel, seemingly over nothing. Then William tells Chloe that people often need help even if they won't admit it. The moving words push her to talk to R🦂achel, and they solve their differences.

9 "I Think People Should Know Who They 𓃲Are And Not Fake It For Anybody."

Karen Reynolds (Life Is Strange 2)

There are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:plenty of difficult decisions in Life Is Strange 2, and one of the toughest is choosing whet♕her to forgive Sean and Daniel's mother, Karen. After all, she left her offspring when they were only young with no explanation, so she's not an easy character to like.

However, wh👍en she returns during the game, she tells Sean her reasons for leaving. Most of it revolves around Karen not feeling like herself and not being suited to motherhood. Her reasons are selfish and not exactly excusable. Yet, there is some wisdom in what she says, especially when she discusses people being themselves.

8 "I’ve Seen You Give So Much Of Yourself To Make Sure Other Pe🏅ople Get What They Need. And I Guess I Wonder If You’ve Thought About What You Need."

Steph Gingrich (Life Is Strange: True Colors)

Life is Strange True Colors screenshot of Steph close-up.

Even though there are only two options, True Colors provides you with one of the most difficult romantic choices in gaming history: Steph or Ryan. If you opt f𒁃or the former, you get a great scene between her and Alex on the rooftop of the Black Lantern.

Life is Stran🐈ge has a whole host of interesting characters, but here are some you probably🐷 overlooked.

Steph talks about her plan to head back out onto the road and find adventure. She invites Alex along for the ride, too. When the protagonist is hesitant, Steph delivers some beautiful words about Alex giving everyone what they need and not doing the same for herself. And𓆉 if you think about Alex's actions in the game, you will realize that Steph is onto something.

7 📖 "Even Angels Need Angels, Max."

Kate Marsh (Life Is Strange)

Saving Kate's life is among th🌞e 🏅most difficult and important puzzles in the original game. By succeeding, though, you get a nice little scene where you visit Kate at the hospital. You talk ꦚto her about various things before getting onto the topic of dating. Inevitably, Warren gets brought up, as does his budding relationship with Max.

Kate encourages the romance, and the protagonist thanks her for caring about her love life. It's at this point that Kate points out 🅷that "even angels need angels." They may be only talking about a high school romance that hasn't even really begun,⭕ but the line also works out of context. People who help others require assistance themselves sometimes.

6 "You're Not A Problem, Chloe. You're A Person."

Rachel Amber (Life Is Strange: Before The Storm)

The bond between Chloe and Rachel drives the plot of Before T𝔉he Storm. And occasionally, the friendship is a little one-sided. Chloe does a lot for Rachel, so much, in fact, that it can seem like the l𓆉atter is taking advantage.

However, there are several times when Rachel returns Chloe's support. On one such occasion, the protagonist tries to be self-deprecating, and Rachel doesn't allow it. The discussion arises when they're talking about Chloe's family life. She admits to being a problem, bu𝔉t her new friend points out that she's more than that.

5 🗹 "I Waꦦnt To Belong Somewhere. I Want To Know That There’s A Place And A Group Of People Who Wouldn’t Be The Same Without Me."

Alex Chen (Life Is Strange: True Colors)

Towards the end of True Colors, Alex emotionally rips Jed apart with an incredible speech. Her words are so strong that they even force the man to admit to his crimes. One part of the tirade, though, is more moving than guttওing. It is where Alex talks about wanting to belong and feel like she matters to people.

With her difficult upbringing, it's not surprising that she has these feelings. Hearing her say the words, though, makes it much more powerful. And they're certainly thoughts to which many people can relate. Quotes like these are why some fans consider Alex to be the great🥂𒆙est character in Life Is Strange: True Colors.

4 "Daniel, You're Not A Little Wolf Anymore. Never Forget Who You Are! Never."

Sean Diaz (Life Is Strange 2)

There are multiple endings to Life Is Strange 2. Arguably, the best one sees Sean and Daniel surrender to the police. Once the cops get ahold of them, they immediately split the siblings up. The heartbreaking🦹 scene🍸 is made even sadder by Sean's final words to Daniel before he's taken away.

3 "I Wish I Could Stay In This Moment Forever. I Guess I Actually Can Now. But Then It Wouldn't Be A Moment."

Max Caulfield (Life Is Strange)

Throughout the first Life Is Strange, Max rewinds time on many occasions. She uses her ability to do everything from saving liv༺es to helping with a scie💦nce project. It takes several episodes for her to realize the dangers of abusing her powers. However, much earlier in the game, she reflects on her newfound skill.

At ꧑the diner, she talks about wanting to stay in a moment forever before pointing out why that's impossible. Not only is the quote thought-provokingꦏ, but it's truthful. No moment lasts forever as they're all brief by default - even the ability to rewind time doesn't change that.
