How Do I Get The Genius's Legion Plugs?

Since there are two Legion Arms in the game, it shouldn't be surprising that there are exactly two Genius's Legion Plugs to locate. The first of these is only missable if you skip a midboss battle, as you will be rewarded with it for defeating the second elephant in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Krat Zoo area (it is the elephant that ꦚtrans🅷forms mid-battle). You'll encounter this foe immediately after hitting the Jungle Zone Walkway Stargazer.

As for the second Genius's Legion Plug, that one is a little stickier. After you defeat the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Two-Faced Overseer boss, the next Stargazer you encounter will be the Ergo Mining Site Stargazer. From here, take a right and head stra🙈ight until you find a boardwalk that circles the arena. You will, of course, need to fight through a few robots.

Head down that path until you are standing in a pool of water. There is a safe with the Genius Cylinder inside in the corner of this room. However, there is also a tough mining robot that wil😼l burst out of 💜the wall that you will have to fight off as well.

Before you progress too far into the room, you should probably open the shortcu꧂t which is on the left side of this room. That will make backtracking easier in case you die.

A Note On Upgrading The New Legion Arms

While you need a special plug (the Genius's Legion Plug) to unlock Cataclysm and Icarus, they are upgraded with the same materials as all your other Legion Arms. That means you can simply speak to the golden cꦫoin tree and reset one of your other Legion Arms in order to get all the materialsꦅ necessary to upgrade these arms to their max level.

The Icarus Legion Arm

The first of the two Legion Arms we'll look at is Icarus. Even without upgrading it, Icrarus is a great tool for attacking clustered groups of enemies and large foes with massive hitboxes. However, once you have upgraded this weapon twice, and have the ability to throw two blades at once, this Legion Arm becomes extremely useful. It can mow down large groups. If you have a bottleneck at your disposal, or a tight corridor, Icarus is🥃 obscenely powerful. Similarly, giant bosses are eaten up by this attack.

However, in an odd twist, the final upgrade doesn't feel nearly as useful, as the blades scatter all around, dealing damage to everyone, but not nearly as much as two blades concentrated on one target. Honestly, I didn't find much use for the Rotate Throw upgrade ability, outside of having a fourth saw blade, of course. Icarus pairs particularly well with spears, as the blades will swarm a location, not an enemy. So, if the enemy you've targeted wꦜalks out of range, you 𓆉can poke them right back into the swirling blades.

The Cataclysm Legion Arm

Cataclysm is, in short, a powerful shotgun. Even without a single upgrade, you can disrupt attacks, and deal substantial damage with a fully-charged Cataclysm shot. Of course, it only gets better from there. You will eventually get the ability to increase that dama♏ge greatly by using the⛦ Cataclysm to interrupt a foe's attack. Additionally, the final upgrade allows you to further increase the power of a Cataclysm shot by timing the white flash.

And if you are wondering, yes, all of these upgrades stack. So, if you manage to perfectly time a Cataclysm shot as ♏a counterattack, you will deal otherworldly damage. I managed to take close to a quarter of a boss's health bar by doing this. Obviously, it isn't easy to do, but the reward is truly glorious.

Which Of The Two New Legion Arms Should I Upgrade First?

The truth is that both of these Legion Arms are excellent. In the early game, I gravitated more toward the Cataclysm, as it hits so incredibly hard. However, a number of the bosses you fight are big-bodied, and the Icarus Legion Arm absolutely dices big bosses up. So, I think that is probably the better first investment, as it will help you beat early bosses like the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tyrannical Predator.

Of course, your build will also likely affect your decision. Icarus is more balanced, scaling with both Motivity and Technique (B Motivity, B Technique), while the Cataclysm primarily scales with Motivity (A Motivity, C Technique).
