Lies Of P: Return To Krat ℱCentral Station Walkthroꩲugh
Lies Of P's🍸 Krat Central Station isn't the cosy tutorial area it once wꦓas.
However, to get to enemies new and old, you'll have to storm the fortress of Arche Abbey. This immensely complex location will require you to loop around yourself through various winding hallways and rafters that'll have you wishing you had your hands on a map. At least you have the next best thing: this guide.
How To Storm The Arche Abbey Entrance
As you set ashore at the Black Seaside and meet Sophia, you'll have the opportunity to encounter several memories condensed in Ergo on the sands.
These are all easy to find - given that they're all practically within sight of one another. Interacting with them will give you plot insight and a Resplendent Ergo Chunk or a Dim Ergo Crystal.
However, there are also a few items to collect. These are all the items from the shore to the Black Seaside Stargazer in order:
- Dim Ergo Fragment
- Crescent Moonstone
- Hidden Moonstone
- Vivid Ergo Fragment
- Hidden Moonstone
- Crescent Moonstone x2
- Hidden Moonstone
- Vivid Ergo Fragment
- Dim Ergo Fragment
The fortress ahead of the Stargazer is heavily defended. In front, there are several hammer carcasses and scorpion beast👍s.
Above them, there are three sections of artillery machines firing explosive rounds.
Trying to fight the beasts while being fired at by waves of ammunition will certainly end in death, so the best strategy is to dash in Rambo-style.
Go around on the far left side and take the left stairs. Try not to invoke the attention of the scorpi🧔on beast.
There is one hammer carcass🌄 on this side. Dispatch it and any other enemies that might have followed you up the stairs.
If you have been caught by the scorpion beast before 🐟making it 🧜to the stairs, you can lure it to an area directly beneath the artillery. In this area, you cannot be shot.
Continue left to not only defeat the rapid-fire carcasses but to destroy the machines by striking them until they explode. This will ensur𝄹e they do not regenerate on your next rest.
Go to the other side of the stairs and do the same to the rest of the artillery. There are two sets on t🍸he far side: one on the lower secti🔯on and one up a flight of stairs.
Grab the "So Said Pistris II" on the altar near the first seꦬt of a🦩rtillery.
At this time, you can descend the stairs and fight all enemies on the b꧋each or take the following items on the ground:
- Crescent Moonstone
- Gemini's Emergency Protection
- Hidden Moonstone
- Vivid Ergo Fragment
Go up the stairs to the gate entrance of the Abbey, grabbing a Star Fragment and Acid Abrasive on the way.
In the next area, you'll have to face the Door Guardian boss.
This large monstrosity is a patience challenge, resisting all damage types except Fire on its right side and completely nullifying it on its left side.
Additionally, he deals Shock damage with every attack. This means your Stﷺamina regeneration will🌟 be highly affected, and consistent dodging is a requirement for this boss.
You can minimize the effect of the Shock by carrying Pℱurification Ampoules or wearing the Patience Amulet.
You'll either have to continue striking it repeatedly until it staggers for a Critical Hit or contemplate the pros and cons of throwing🌳 𒁏your controller out the nearest window.
To save you from doing the latter, here are a few tips for this fight:
- Dodge aggressively and forward for chances to get as many attacks as possible.
- Stay away from the guardian's left side (your right). Do not attack it.
- Avoid using long-reach weapons that might catch the left side in attack wind-ups.
- Perfect Guard all Fury attacks with as much consistency as possible.
- Use strong attacks where possible.
- Do not pass up the chance for a staggered Critical Hit. This is where all your damage will come from.
- Carry Shot Puts to increase stagger amount.
After defeating the Door Guardian, you'll gain the item required to open the door: the High-Level Alchemist's Badge.
Stand on the square platform in front of the doors and agree to use the badge. This will open the doors and grant you access to the outer walls of the 𓆉Abbey and a new Stargazer.
Sieging The Abbey Outer Wall
If you thought 🎃your time with artillery sꦚhells was over, congratulations! Things are so, so much worse.
Up the stairs from the Stargazer is an absolute fortress that will require you to open paths while constantly under fire from aggressꦇive, strong enemies and 𝓡artillery galore.
You're fired on from the moment you top the first set of stairs.
Go up to the right, defeating hammer carcasses as you avoid artillery. You can take shelter behind the palisades from bo𓂃th the bull carcas♈s and the explosive shells.
If you line up the enemies correctly, you can use the artillery shells to kill nearby enemies - especially the bull carcass - as the artillery operator doesn't care for the rules of friendly fire.
On the far side of the palisade area is a location where you can use the Alchemist's Badge. This will lower a bridge toward the entrance.
Return to the Stargazer (resting if you need to), and then run across this bridge.
Up a ladder and across a wooden bridge, you'll be ambushed by a torso carcass spewing gunk.
A second hammer carcass is up another ladder once you defeat the torso.
Be careful ascending the next ramp for the artillery. Dodge where needed and defeat the Decay carcass a♎head.
Before you ascend the next ladder, there's a Star Fragment and Venigni's Urgent Repair in the immediate vicinity.
The next area is patrolled by three hammer carcasses. Defeat them all and make your way back toward the entrance to find a shortcut ladder switch.
After activating it, you can make your way back to an item sitting on a beam. Before you cross onto it, bait one artillery shell and run back. Then, you'll be able to take the Star Fragment.
Carry on to the top of the area for a Special Resistance Ampoule.
Ahead, you'll spy two dog carcasses. Defeat them both and be aware of the rapid-fire carcass that may be triggered to the right.
Destroy the dogs, the rapid-fire carcass, and the artꦿillery machine.
Making your way up the stairs, there are two more hammer carcasses. After dispatching them, you'll reach the top where two scorpion beasts patrol.
The beasts guard the way to your next Stargazer (up a ladder to the right of the massive doors) and a chest containing the Veteran's Amulet (increases Max Legion).
The best way to defeat these beasts is t🍸o lure one out usingꦅ a throwable item. Defeat them one at a time to prevent being overwhelmed.
The Abbey Outer Wall - First Shortcut
Go through the hall ahead and go right toward the ledge. You can take a detour to the right on the ledge. There will be an item over here (Dark Moon Moonstone of the Covenant), but a Decay carcass will attempt to push 𒐪you off.
You can let them, or defeat the carcass, take the item, and jump down into the area below.
Alternatively, if you don't wish to get caught up in the enemies below, you can attempt falling from the ledge on the left onto a ledge where the ladder in the next section begins. This achieves the same result, trading possible Ergo gain for a safer, less health-costing path.
Take the ladder on the bottom up to a room where you'll find the Bundle of Old Letters.
In the next room, there are three potential locations you can go to. For now, go across the room toward a burning brazier where you can pick up a Venigni's Urgent Repair Tool.
A Disruption dog will drop from the ceiling.
Exit this room and go left - avoiding the stairs for now - where a Dimensional Butterfly will spawn.
This butterfly will lead you into a room with two more Disruption dogs.
The butterfly will drop a Full Moonstone of the Covenant while you can pick up a Dim Ergo Crystal and a Half Moonstone from the floor.
Go up the stairs now and circle around to the right to see a bridge.
There are three Decay carcasses ahead, but the real threat is up on the ramparts above to the right: a rapid-fire carcass.
Sprint across the bridge and defeat all the Decay carcasses under the safety of a roof. When dispatched, open the shortcut door back to the Stargazer.
The Abbey Outer Wall: Second Shortcut
Going back across the bridge and avoiding the rapid-fire carcass's shots, take a right down a hallway you have not visited yet.
You'll find a set of stairs guarded by a Disruption dog with one Shot Put and a second Disruption dog up top.
Eventually, you'll be able to get revenge on the rapid-fire carcass. After taking him out, go left.
You'll see a room on the left side of the hall. Before you enter, look up to spy the Disruption dog on the ceiling trying to be a little cheeky.
Kill the dog - the only time this is ever acceptable - and grab the Special Purification Ampoule inside.
At the end of the hall, take the "First Discovery, Camille" and proceed up the stairs.
The top is guarded by a scorpion carcass. This ♊enemy is very easily staggered; you can stagger-lock it with simple attack 🌃spam.
Inside a side room of the scorpion carcass's area is a chest containing the Acidic Great Curved Sword (Advance B; Technique C).
Outside the scorpion carcass's room is a set of stairs leading to, say it with us now, another artillery machine.
Rush to the door on the right side, and spy a perfectly normal staircase - a perfectly normal staircase with pillars that shoot out from the walls to de💃al damage and push you back to the ground floor.
There are two of these pillars. You can tell where and when these pillars strike from the glowing red eyes on their faces just before they push out.
At the top of the staircase, use your Alchemist's Badge on the square platform to fix the bridge below.
Returning to the bridge, take shelter behind a statue and wait for the artillery to fire. Then, bolt across the bridge.
There is a scorpion carcass on the bridge, but we want to dash past it for ꦦnow. Instead, take the stairs to the left and then defeat the rapid fire carcass operating the machine.
The beast likely followed you, so jump onto the ladder to the left to remove their aggro. Then, you can descend and properly destroy the machine.
Dash downstairs, past the doorway, all the way to the end where you can now operate a switch to a Stargazer shortcut.
Dropping onto a nearb🌳y beam and then jumping a gap on the right will reward you with both an Acid Canister and an Electric Blitz Abrasive.
From the Stargazer, go up the stairs again to the doorway to the bridge.
We'll take a short detour to the left to destroy the Decay carcasses inside and the scorpion carcass from earlier. This will allow you to reach and open the chest near the bridge for one LADA F350 Frame.
At this point, you can return to the Stargazer🐓 to rest, repair weapons, visit Hotel Krat, or do whatever you n🔴eed to.
The Inner Abbey is just ahead, via the ladder at the top of the stairs you used earlier. It will be the longest and hardest part of your journey, so prepare yourself accordingly.
