We'll try to provide a number of options and some alternatives because there is little in the way of a one-size-fits-all solution in Lies Of P. We also encourage you to break from our advice and explore other options. However, many of the upgrades listed below helped us tremendously early in the game. Some of these upgrades we didn't get early on, and wish we had.

8 ♊ Unlock The Falcon Eye Legion Arm ꧅

So, you may be wondering, "Which of these Legion Arms should I unlock first? Which will give me the most power?" And we're going to have to level with you, friends: all the Legion Arms are pretty bad when they aren't upgraded. The only really useful one is the Puppet String for yanking ranged enemies from their groups. Other than that, you may just want to stick with the "Left Arm Of Steel", as it is the lightest arm.

So, why the Falcon Eye, then? Well, even at the base level, it can still take out enemies who are above you and are otherwise unreachable. However, the main reason is because the Falcon Eye is one of the best Legion Arms in the game once it is fully upgraded, so, getting it earlier means being able to upgrade it earlier. We especially recommend going with this Legion Arm if you are using weapon blades that have a good ♛block percentage.

For a quick summary of what each provides...

  • Fulminis Shocks enemies, but is short range and does minimal damage.
  • Flamberg is the same as Fulminis, but it Overheats opponents instead of shocking them.
  • Pandamonium places down a puddle of acid, which will slowly apply corrosion to enemies standing in it. It is short-range, and you need to keep your enemies in that puddle for it to have any effect.
  • Dues Ex Machina places down Mines, which can be good for clearing out enemies, but it doesn't do as much damage as you would think, and the spacing can be tricky in the early stages, as it will only detonate a specific time.
  • Aegis will block incoming attacks and does have better damage mitigation than most weapons, but it can't Perfect Guard.

7 🧜 𒁏 Unlock The Aegis Legion Arm

Lies Of P, P defending with the Aegis Shield

Woah, wait a minute, didn't we just say this arm is bad? Yes. Yes, we did. However, if you want to use extremely fast weapons, you will be left with a pretty terrible guard. That's no good! So, if you unlock your Aegis, you can have access to a much better guard, once you have spent꧟ three Legion Calibers on it, you will also h⛎ave a Perfect Guard option with it.

All of this makes the Aegis Legion Arm extremely good for lightweight builds once you have obtained the Guard Parry modification. If you do go down this route, also consider investing in the "Legion Magazine Effect Enhance" skills in your P-Organ upgrade menu. Legion is going to be pretty important to your b𓆉uild, so you 🌊better invest in it.

You will eventually get the ability to have your Legion auto charge from the P-Organ upgrade system as well, but that won't be until the fifth phase, so you will be pretty late into the game when that becomes available.

6 U🌳pgrade The Falcon Eye Or The Puppet String First

Pretty early on, you are going to get the ability to upgrade a Legion Arm. But which one should you splurge on first? Well, most of the Legion Arms have limited utility until they are fully upgrad๊ed, but there are two Legion Arms that are particularly strong once they are fully leveled up: the Puppet String and the Falcon Eye.

Pound for pound, a fully upgraded Puppet String is probably the strongest Legion Arm in the game. It will allow you to instantly close the distance on an enemy and land a devastatingly powerful blow. However, it is easy to time this wrong and fling yourself into a boss's attack. The Falcon Eye, on the other hand, is a fast, hard-hitting, projectile attack once it is fully upgraded. So, it is generally a lot easier to use effectively. Either way, choose one of these and stick with them. Don't spread your points out, as you will just end up with a bunch of partially upgraded, bad Legion Arms, instead of one really strong Legion Arm.

We aren't going to give it a whole other section, but if you are looking to use light weapons, then the Aegis Legion Arm is what you should invest in, that way you can have a viable way to guard

5 Upgrade 𒐪Vigor

Lies Of P, P guarding

You are going to need to be able to block attacks without having your stamina empty out. That's just a fact. While you will have multiple opportunities to mitigate how much stamina certain actions cost through the P-Organ upgrade system, you will still need stamina for dodging and blocking. And the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Vigor is how you upgrade that. It is very, very easy to ignore Vigor early on, as it may seem like you have plenty of stamina.

However, there will come a point where, if you have ignored Vigor, you quite sim💦ply will not be able to Perfect Guard certain sequences without having your guard broken. You will start to find that after dodging a few successive attacks you are left without the stamina to hit the boss with your weapon during that brief moment of vulnerability. This is the consequence of not upgrading your vigor!

4 Enℱ🀅hance Guard Regain Recovery

Lies Of P, P altering his P-Organs

So, you are working toward gaining your first P-Organ (ideally Link Dodge), but what should your first skill be? Well, there are a 𝓀ton of good options, including the ability to gain Ergo quicker with the "Increases Ergo upon eliminating an enemy 1" upgrade, or you can improve your chances of staggering an enemy with the "Increase Staggered Duration 1" upgrade.

Both of those upgrades are great options, but the whole Guard Regain system is absolutely vital in Lies Of P, so, we'd say you are best off starting there. With this ability unlocked you will be able to regain health back a much faster pace once you have blocked an enemy's attack. This is something that will help you from the moment you get it all the way to the final boss of the game!

3 🐻 Craft A Weapon With A Good Damage Reduction Rate ꩲ

Lies Of P, P holding his newly crafted sword while lit by lamp light

When you block in Lies Of P the amount of damage you receive will be determined by your weapon's Damage Reduction Rate. With 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:how heavilꦺy the game emphasizes Perfect Guarding, this is absolutely pivotal. If you are using a weapon with a very low Damage Reduction Rate for the guard, then it will be extremely difficultꦉ for you to even get all your health back Especially if you guard multiple attacks.

A 50% reduction rate is okay, but higher is better. The Greatsword of Fate Blade is an early Blade that you can attach to the Wintry Rapier's Handle. This is a pretty great early weapon, as it is reasonably quick, hits from a distance, and has an excellent 65% Damage Reduction Rate. However, which Handle you use is going to be determined by which of the core stats you are emphasizing in your build.

2 🐼 Upgrade Capacity 🌜

Lies Of P, P holding a hefty sword

Look, we can't tell you which specific stat is going to help your specific build the most. However, no matter what your build is, you are going to need to be able to keep P under a certain weight threshold so that they aren't super slow. And here is the kicker, every time you get new equipment, it is going to be heavier. There are plenty of handy-dandy tricks for keeping your weight down, but at a certain point, you just need to invest in a higher capacity.

It may feel like Capacity is a less sexy upgrade option, but by upgrading it, you can stay kitted out with the best armor, wielding a giant sword, and still roll nimbly. We aren't saying you shouldn't upgrade other stats, we just encourage you to always keep a sharp eye on Capacity and make sure you don't let it fall by the wayside.

Lies Of P, P dodging

This is a TOUGH one. When 🌞you are working toward your first P-Organ, you have three brilliant choices. You can increase your total Pulse Cells, you can increase the amount of time an enemy remains staggerable, or you can get the Link Dodge ability. All three are strong choices, but the Link Dodge is, in our opinion, the clear winner.

With this ability unlocked, your dodge is just considerably more potent. When you are facing enemies with those giant, swinging attacks, dodging through them will be so much easier, as slightly mistiming your dodge won't be an issue, as you will be able to dodge a second-time mid-dodge. It is just, unquestionably, an incredible tool to have in your arsenal.
