How To Counter Eyeless Dogs
You'll only find the Eyeless Dogs spawning after 5 - 6 PM when you're on a certain moon, so of course, the best way to counter them is to avoid them completely and take off before it reaches that time. However, this is a recipe for disaster since this will lead to a lack of time for collecting loot, which will make it harder༒ to meet the quota later on.
Thankfully, you can also counter these enemies by simply understanding how they work. As the name suggests, these enemies cannot detect you through the line of sight. The only way for them to know about your existence is if they hear your footsteps, voice, or some other item that makes noises like Toy Robot or Boombox.
These creatures won't detect your voice if you're on push to talk and don't have the button pressed.
When they detect a noise, you'll hear them growl and move toward the location. However, if the noise keeps going for more than a second, they'll roar loudly and dash towards the audio location. If they manage to dash onto you, they can one-shot you easily, which is why it's important to avoid making noise near them.
If you're quite experienced in Lethal Company, you can even think about killing these creatures using one of the following methods:
- If you have two players in the game, one person can use the Zap Gun to stun the dog while the other hits it with a Shovel. You have to hit it with the Shovel quite a lot of times, so this is one of the harder methods.
- You can also use the Nutcracker's Shotgun to kill them, but you'll have to get more shells than just the two you get from killing one Nutcracker.
- Finally, if you have an Earth Leviathan spawn with the dogs, you can try to bait them into getting hit by the worm, which is an instant death as well.
