You play as contractors for the mysterious corporation known as The Company. You're tasked with going to various derelict moons to collect and sell scrap found within crumbling industrial facilities. All of this is done while you try to survive the mysterious denizens of the concrete buildings. While collecting scrap and avoiding the entities that dwell within these areas, it's easy to miss some of the easter eggs and secrets found throughout the varying levels.

Lethal Company is still in development as an Early Access title. As such, it may receive more Easter eggs and solve secrets as the game updates. We'll be sure to keep this article as up-to-date as we can on any changes.

8 The 'Don't Tell' Mystery

Lethal Company - View of the submarine on a platform

At The Company Building, there is an object that has been the subject of much discussion within the community. A hatch can be found to the left of the ship's landing area, leading to a boardwalk just above the ocean covering the moon. Should you happen to turn back in the direction of the Company's building, a strange scene can be found. What looks like a submarine or a drill sits atop a platform perpendicular to the boardwalk.

There's a peculiar submarineꦏ lurking beneath the Company Building.

A bit of parkour is required to reach the object, but upon closer inspection, the words 'Don't tell' are written on the side, as well as what looks to be two slots for a power source of some kind. Since Lethal Company is still in early access, only time will tell the true nature of the mystery.

Ke♔en observers have noted that the slots look to be able to fit an Apparatus, which can be found when deployed on a moon. Interestingly enough, these scrap bits are the power sources for the buildings you enter.

7 Sigurd's Logs

Lethal Company Terminal

Messages in the form of ship logs can be found scattered throughout the various maps. They were written by a man named Sigurd, an employee of The Company just like you, who details his experiences while being contracted to the corporation. The beginning logs give hints about how to properly play and how certain m⛄echanics work, so they can be𒈔 worthwhile to new pꦛlayers alongside the manual.

As the logs progress, they tell an incredibly interesting story that makes you question who The Company really is and just what it is you're really doing as you collect and sell scrap. The logs end rather abruptly, which leads to curiosity about the fate of Sigurd and his companions.

6 The Backrooms 💯

The Backroom looking room in Lethal Company

The Backrooms is a cultural phenomenon on the internet using the aesthetic of liminal spaces. Liminal spaces are locations that are usually very busy, like a mall, that have become completely empty. The creepy feeling of solitude and mystery was capitalized on when The Backrooms were created by a user on 4chan and popularized by Kane Parsons, a short film creator on YouTube. The Backrooms are a maze of empty office rooms that seemingly go𝄹 on for eternity with no end in sight.

The Backrooms is one of the most popular recent internet creepypastas and🐓 has already inspired several video games. These are the best ones.

The concept was referenced in Lethal Company, where you can stumble across a room that is typically void of any loot and is identical to the original image of The Backrooms. Many call it 'the Bracken room,' however, since its appearance signifies 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the presence of a hostile mob called the Bracken. The Bracken lurks in the shad🍬ows and will sneak up behind players to kill them and drag their bodies away to deposit them in this very room.

5 C𓃲ity In Th🦋e Sky

Lethal Company Skybox

The oddest 🥂of the Easter Eggs can be found in the skybox of each level, where the picture of a spot on a road in an unnamed city can be found. This picture is quite out of place, being that the game is set on moons in space. Very little is known about the picture, but a Reddit user naꦆmed u/Zheiss recently discovered the setting to be a city in South Africa named Sandton, located in the Gauteng province.

The significance of the picture is unknown, and nobody seems to know why the developer chose this particular spot. All that is known is that it's a well-hidden secret most have missed.

4 ♔ Scrap Buyer

Lethal Company Gordion

Your first time selling scrap after a successful run will be jarring due to how the scrap is sold. After making it to the Company's building and ringing the bell for the scrap to be collected, a large tentacle will emerge from the slot behind the counter and grab everything you're selling. Nobody knows what kind of creature possesses such an appendage, why it wants your scrap, or even why it's there. The entity resides within the looming structure of the Company's building, which only furthers the peculiarity.

If you ring the bell rapidly, the tentacle will emerge and kill the nearest person, raising its own questions. Between this and certain things mentione🔜d by our friend Sigurd in his logs, the Company seems to have some secrets of its own. Whether we see the result of all the speculation remains to be seen.

It's rumored to not just be the bell that aggitates the scrap buyer. Any loud noises, such as the air horn or boom box, are known to instigate an attack from the creature.

3 ജ SCP-939 Resemblan🐻ce

Lethal Company Eyeless Dog In Ship

After 5 pm in Lethal Company, the outdoor sections of the maps become vastly more dangerous due to specific enemies spawning outside. One of these ꩲenemies, the Ey🐎eless Dogs, is incredibly similar to SCP-939 in both appearance and behavior. SCP-939 is a blind and aggressive canine that attacks any humans it encounters.

Both SCP-939 and the Eyeless Dogs hunt through sound and will attack and kill you if they finꦡd you. Due to Lethal Company having proximity chat, the Eyeless Dogs can hear and track you using the sound coming through your mic or from your character.

2 SCP-173s Be♎hav𒁏ior

Lethal Company Coil Head

Coil Heads are by far one of the scariest enemies you can encounter in Lethal Company. They behave in the same way as, and may be a reference to, SCP-173 and can only move when you're turned away from them. The Coil Heads are tall and similar to a mannequin in appearance, but instead of a neck, they have a large coil spring connecting their head to their body.

When they 𒆙kill someone, they replace their head with a coil spring similar to their own, which sends an ominous message to those who stumble across a dead friend who was se𝓰parate from the pack.

When you force them to stop by looking at them, a loud metallic sound is made, which is useful for being n𒆙otified of their presence in the dark.

1 SCP-035

Lethal Company Tragedy Mask

SCP-035 is similar to the new tragedy mask added in the Frosty Update. It inhabits the person brave enough to put it on or hold it for too long. The SCP causes people to do its bidding through manipulation and possession. It's a very dangerous entity, much like the tragedy mask, which causes the person inhabited to become zombie-like versions of themselves that actively hunt you down to assimilate you into their ranks.

The inhabited players can even follow you outside of the facilities you enter, which only adds to the horror. Sometimes, they're already spawned on the map upon landing and can catch the unwary off guard, so keep a close eye on what may look to be your fellow contractors.
