You can pass by most of them safely, but at times they'll spawn in a place that won't let you slip by them, or you don't want to accidentally run into a mine while escaping a creature. There's no turning them off with a computer either. Here's how to disable Landmines safely, so you and your teammates can avoid one more way to die.
How To Disable Land Mines
If you've spotted a landmine in the complex and need to get rid of it before someone gets blown up, there are two ways you can deal with them safely: throwable items like Stun Grenades, Homemade Flashbangs, or with the Extension Ladder.
You can detonate Landmines with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:melee weapons like the Shovel or✅ the Stopꦬ Sign by hitting them, but you run the risk of killing yourself or your teammates in the process.
Throwable Items
With Stun Grenades or other throwable items, you'll need to position yourself several steps away from the Landmine. For mines in a hallway or around a corner, you can try to get around it for a better angle.
If the mine is on the stairs, and you can't throw anything at it from your current angle, you can slip past it if it's close enough to one edge, or carefully jump onto the railing, and use it to get up to the other floor and throw the item down onto it.
You can use a Landmine's blast radius to kill certain enemies such as Brackens, Hoarding Bugs, and Thumpers, if you lure them to one, then throw an item onto it to make it detonate.
Extension Ladder
If you can't use throwable items for a Landmine, you can also make use of the Extension Ladder to detonate it from afar.
Activate the Extension Ladder, then place it several steps away from the landmine. Once it's down, all you need to do is wait for the Extension Ladder to fall onto the Land♑mine, let it detonate, then pick up the Ladder again.
You can detonate multiple Landmines with a single Extension Ladder or Stun Grenade, even if the grenade has been used.
