Lego took its Ideas program to a new level earlier this year when it asked its fans to come up with new sets based on iconic movies and TV shows from the 1990s. After sifting through hundreds of ideas, the winneജrsꦡ have now been selected and will be turned into real-life Lego sets that the rest of us will be able to buy and build.
are franchises that have never been turned into Lego before, at least not officially - Wallace & Gromit and The X-Files. The X-Files, in particular, is about as quintessentially '90s as it gets. Starting in 1993 and running through until 2002, a lot of people grew up with Mulder and Scully, and now they'll be able to r🐼eacq🥂uaint themselves with the detectives in Lego form.

The Simpsons Is Teaming Up With Lego Again For Its First ꦜSet Since 2015
The Simpsons and Lego are together again for the first time i꧂n ten years.
▨There are, of course, Minifigure versions of Mulder and Scully in the winning X-Files entry created by WetWired, and they're just one of many things that make this debut X-Files Lego set great. The base of the build is modeled after Mulder's underground office, with a forest scene perched on top. There's also an alien Minifigure that in the image showing 🀅off the set is standing in the middle of the forest, blissfully unaware of the Lego goings on beneath them.
Nothing Is More '90s Than The X-Files
Minifigure Mulder Sighting Confirmed
The X-Files set is a big one, clocking in at more than 2,000 pieces. The second '90s challenge was to create a smaller set with the caveat being that it couldn't be more than 1,000 pieces. That's where Wallace & Gromit come in. While still relevant today thanks to the release of Venꦐgeance Most Fowl at the end of last year, some of the best entries in the series - The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave - were released in th𒁏e '90s.
The winning fan creation is a toy brick build of Wallace on his motorbike and Gromit riding aไlongside him in a sidecar. An iconic look for Aardman's claymation pair, with Pidelium, the set's designer, absolutely nailing Wallace & Gromit's first-ever Lego look. No piece count attached to this one, but the final product will differ from what we've been shown anyway.
This is a nice reminder that we've got a mys꧂terious Pokemon x Aardman project to look forward to.
That applies to the X-Files set, too. Although Lego has turned a lot of Ideas submissions into fully-fledged sets over the years - it just announced 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:it will be doing that with Godzilla soon - the final product tends to differ from the original submission. That said, we are definitely getting versions of these sets in the future, so keep your eyes 𒐪peeled for their official reveals soon.
