The Lake Hylia Crystal is a hidden Shrine Quest in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. To triไgger the quest, you neeཧd to throw yourself into the raging whirlpool that is constantly churning on the east side of Lake Hylia.
Once you discover the shrine, you might be wondering where to find the crystal, since all the game tells you is that it is above you some꧙where. Successfully finding this crystal and bringing it to the shrine will unlock the Rauru's Blessing-type En-oma Shrine. Here's how to find it and complete the crystal puzzle.
How To Complete The Lake Hylia Crystal Quest
You can reach the whirlpool in Lake Hylia by flying down from the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, or you can glide over from In-Isa Shrine from the Great Sky Island.
Entering the whirlpool will spit you out in the Lake Hylia Whirlpool Cave, where you will find an༒ empty shrine in front♈ of you.
Interact with En-oma Shrine to trigger the Lake Hylia Crystal Shrine quest.
As soon as you do this, you'll notice the beam of light pointing towards the crystal is directly up in the air. The crystal is actually in the sky, on a tiny island you have to reach from elsewhere.
Getting The Crystal To En-Oma Shrine
If you open your map and navigate to the Sky section while in the cave, you'll notice there is a floating island above you at this location. This is where you'll find the crystal.
To reach it, you should teleport back to Nachoya Shrine on the Great Sky Island from the start of the game near the Room of Awake🌜ning.
Alternatively, you can teleport to the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower and launch yourself into the air.
Fro🅺m Nachoya Shrine, use Ascend to reach the top side of the cave outside. Run up as far as you can, past the big tree, passing over the Room of Awakening.
When you climb up another ledge and reach the end of the island, jump off the edge towards Lake Hylia.
Directly above the whirlpool, you will begin to see the beam of light pointing to where the crystal is hiding.
Glide over and land on this island to 🌠pick the crystal up. The crystal is sat in front oꦯf a square gap in the floor.
Grab the crystal and slowly walk it off the edge. You will fall while holding the ꦦcrystal, but feel free to let go of it.
Simply fall the entire distance into Lake Hylia.
When you hit the water, you will be caught in the whirlpool and you will drop the crystal. But don't worry, it will get sucked into the whirlpool as well without a problem.
The crystal will come with you and appear in the cave when you land. Thankfully, th💖e crystal lands oౠn the ground.
All you need to do is swim to land, grab it, and take it over to the shrine entrance to unlock En-oma Shrine.
