From monstrous gems to rare minerals, the secrets hidden behind walls of ꦗboulders and the cake's twi🐈sting and turning paths are sure to line your pockets with convenient wealth.
However, finding the cave is the first step. After all, despite being named Lake Intenoch Cave, the cave isn't actually on, beside, or under Lake Intenoch itself. This misleading name may have you looking in the wrong direction, and if you've found it, navigating its tunnels can be a little tricky. That is, after all, what we're h𒐪ere to help with.
Finding Lake Intenoch And The Crystal
Despite its name, Lake Intenoch is actually located north of Gero Pond. The cave isn't connected to any stretch of land shared with Lake Intenoch except a small portion near Broca Island underground. Don't let the name fool you and travel to the land mass on the eastern side of Gero Pond.
The cave entrance is a very large hole in the side of the mountain. You should see an igneous sheet (the hardened magma) that looks like it was once a lavafall spilling into Lake Intenoch in front of it and Gero Pond just outside and to the left.
You'll need two pieces of the or one piece and the to enter safely.
In the main chamber of this room are two paths obscured by walls of breakable boulders. You can destroy them by:
- Firing fused to arrows
- Breaking them manually with a hammer-fused weapon
- Using Yunobo's special Charge ability
It is recommended to use Yunobo's here as there will be several walls, and exploring this🌃ဣ cave entirely may be very exhaustive on your supplies and weapons.
To begin this cave, it is recommended to go left if you'd like a chest with a to begin with; this path will loop around to the right side eventually. Otherwise, begin on the right side.
On the right side, you'll be able to break several walls of boulders until you come to another left or right option. You have two choices here:
- Staying right will lead to the room with the Lake Intenoch Crystal.
- Going left will lead to the room with the Bubbulfrog.

Crossing The Lava With The Lake Intenoch Crystal
Ignore the Crystal as you enter its room for now and look left along the lava bank. Notice the Fire Like on the wall ahead. You'll need to defeat it to discover the sitting on the bank under it.
Grab the and return to the area where the Crystal was located. Set down the and touch the Crystal to activate the quest.
You'll need to carry the Crystal across the lava lake to reach the shrine and get around the lavafall on the other side. There are a few ways of solving this puzzle, but two are relatively simple:
- Build a raft-boat with a piece of stone you make with the and Attach the nearby to it. Insert the Crystal in your raft and ride across.
- Carry the across first and create a long bridge of stones. Return once you reach the other side and carry the Crystal safely across.
It is recommended that if you're not boat-savvy and don't mind the time taken to use the bridge option. If you do, however, be aware of holding the close in front of you. In the event you hold the too far ahead or above, you might make unsafe gaps in your🅠 bridge.
Once near the lavafall, you can take the small ledge on the right side of it and follow the path to the shrine around the corner.ဣ When you are close enough with the Crystal, the quest wi⛎ll automatically end and create the Moshapin Shrine.
