Riot Games is apparently gearing up to develop an MMORPG set in the League of Legends universe. The new🦄s was nonchaꦫlantly offered up last night by a Riot VP, who posted a .

The announcement was dropped by Greg Street, Vice President of IP and Entertainment at Riot Games. His first post simply mentioned he was hiring for a new game at Riot – and that the game would be "massiv♑e." Immediately, fans began speculating about what this new game would be, and whether Street wౠas claiming his next game was an MMORPG.

A bit later he 🌳jumped back ꦰinto the conversation, writing "It is an MMO."

That's a low-key way to announce a long-requested game, but we'll take what we can get. There's no specific details about the coming title – although the – but League 🃏of Legends fans are no doubt excited about this development.

Street has focused on Riot Forge and Arcane during his time at Riot Games, but he has extensive experience in the world of MMOs. In fact, he worked on World of Warcraft for five years as the lead systems designer before leaving the studio. I🌸f anyone at Riot was going to get to wo🌜rk on an MMO, this is the person to lead the charge.

Riot Games has been busy the past few years, releasing several titles beyond League of Legends. Legends of Runeterra continues to thrive, Teamfight Tactics is one of the best autochess games on the market, and even Valorant is putting up impressive numbers. No doubt an MMO from the studio would be of interest to a large portion of the gaming population, especially diehard MMO fans who haven't had many good choices over the past few years. Beyond the long-running World of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls Online, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Black Desert, pickings are slim for a modern MMO experience.

Hopefully we hear more about the project in the coming weeks – and🥀 hopefully it's in the form of an a🌱ctual press release.
