The Actor's Story in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Layers Of Fear (2023) is a remake of Layers Of Fear 2. It tells the tale of the Burns children, a pair of Edwardian orphans stowing away on board the RMS Odyssey. As the Actor revisits the past, you'll face several choices that determine the outcome.

Avoiding the Formless ending, which appears by default, requires that you stick to your decisions the whole way through the game. Read on to learn about the four key decision points and how you'll need to approach them in order to get a more satisfying conclusion.

How Is The Ending Determined?

In every chapter of the Actor's Story except for the last, you'll be given an instruction by the Director. The game tracks whether you follow the directions you're given or disobey and do the opposite. If you obey the Director in all four scenarios, you'll get the Flame ending. If you defy the Director each time, you'll receive the Always ending. If you follow instructions sometimes but disobey others, you'll receive the Formless ending.

How To Get The Flame Or Always Ending

The Director usually makes it quite clear what he wants you to do, but sometimes he speaks cryptically or waits for you to make a move before giving feedback. If you disobey the Director, you'll always have a chance to change your mind and follow his instructions; if you obey, however, you'll usually be sent straight on without any chance to reconsider.

Choosing a mannequin to shoot.
  • Shoot the mannequin on the right (the woman).

  • Shoot the mannequin on the left (the man).
  • The Director will make you redo the scene each time you shoot the man.
  • Keep shooting the left mannequin until the Director gives up.

Two

Fighting with a dog over food.
  • Continue struggling with the dog until you successfully take the food.

  • Give up on taking the dog's food each time.
  • If you attempt to take the food but fail, you'll count as having given up even if you didn't mean to do so.

Three

Making Lily walk the plank.
  • Shoot the pirates standing to either side of you.
  • The pirate on the right takes two shots.

  • Shoot at Lily three times as she walks the plank.

Four

The Flame and the Flood
  • Stay still until the Flood washes you away.
  • Yes, you need to stay away from the Flame despite this choice pushing you toward the Flame ending.

  • Run toward the Flame and reach it before the timer runs out.

Whenever you're in the cabin between chapters, you can visit the recording room to review your choices, though you can't change them unless you start a new playthrough.
