𝓰As you progress through the game and build your character, you may want to try out different skills and passives. Luckily, respeccing your build is fairly easy in Last Epoch. Below, we'll take a look at how to respec both your Passive Grid and Skill Specializations.
You can't respec your Mastery; once you've chosen your Mastery, you'll have to make a new character of the same clꦉass if you want to try a different Mastery.
How To Respec Passive Grid
To respec the Passive points you've put in🤡to your Passive Grid, you'll need to visit any of the Respec NPCs in a major town like the End of ജTime.
The Respec NPC can be found by looking for the brain icon on the mini-map.
At this NPC, select the Respecialize Mastery Point allocations option to bring up your Passive Point Grid. Here, you can select any of your allocated Passive points to remove the point. Doing this will cost a bit of gold. The amount of gold it costs to respec a Passive point depends on the current level of the passive node.
Keep in mind that you need to have at least 20 Passive points in your main class Grid before you can allocate points꧃ to your Mastery, so you can't remove main class passives below 20 total points if you still have points allocated to yo💖ur Mastery Grid.
After removing Passive points from your grid, you c💟an then freely allocate them elsewhere.
How To Respec Skill Specialization
Respeccing your Skill Specialization works a little differently. To do this, first open up the Skills menu and select the Skill you want to change. On that Skill's Specialization tree, select the Respec option at the top right.
Here, you'll have the option to either remove an allocated Skill Point from the tree or Despecialize the Skill entirely, allowing you to select a new Skil𒊎l for Special♌ization.
When you remove a Skill Point, your Skill's level will be reduced by one, if it is currently above the minimum Skill Level. This means that you can remove the allocated point, but you'll need to continue using the Skill to level it up to again get the Skill Point back.
The minimum Skill Level increases as you level up your character, up to a maximum of ten.
