Last Epoch: Should You Join The Merchant's Guild Or Circle Of Fortune?
Can't decide on which faction to join? We o𝓀utline the benefits of joining the Cir⛦cle of Fortune and Merchant's Guild.
But as with most ARPG endgame systems, the Monoliꦿth of Fate is not for the faint of heart. Pushing further in a timeline will increase that timeline's difficulty and even build up Corruption. If you can best these challenges, you will be rewarded with some of Last Epoch's best endgame items and a highly replayable endgame system that will keep players busy for dozens of hours.
How To Unlock Monoliths Of Fate
The Monolith of Fate activity unlocks upon completing Last Epoch's campaign. When you reach the end of the campaign, you will unlock the "Monolith of Fate" side quest, which will take you to the End of Time. Speak to the Forgotten Knight at the hub town, and they will give a brief explanation of how the Monolith works. When ready, head to the eastern edge of town to access the Monolith dungeon timelines.
You can also access the Monolith of Fate at any time from your map. Al🏅l unlocked timelines may be found under the "End of Time" timeline.
Once you are in the Monolith area, you can walk up to each timeline crystal and interact with it. This will begin a Monolith run, generating a web of dungeons you can pick from. Players will always start at the center of this web. Your goal is to push as far to the edge as possible. The further you go, the harder the modifiers will getꩵ, but the better loot you'll receive.
Unlocking Timelines
The Monolith of Fate is broken up into ten timelines or dungeon variants. All players have the Fall of the Outcasts timeline unlocked by default, rated for Level 58+ players. Once you beat that particular timeline, you will unlock access to additional timelines in the Monolith of Fate. Continue to clear new timelines, and you'll eventually gain access to the final three timelines near the top of the map: The Age of Winter, Spirits of 𝓀Fire, and The Last Ruin.
Echo Modifiers
When you first interact with a Monolith, you will be presented with a web of islands that each have a reward icon. These are called Echoes, miniature dungeons that drop a guaranteed reward type. Hovering over an Echo will display all of its qualities on the bottom-right of your screen. These modifieꦯrs include:
-
Monster Modifiers: Buffs the monsters receive in that dungeon. The further you are from the center of the web, the more difficult these modifiers become.
- Some modifiers persist for multiple Echoes. These modifiers can also affect boss fights in that timeline.
- Player Modifiers: Multipliers to your XP gains and item rarity.
- Echo Rewards: These rewards are guaranteed to spawn when you finish the selected Echo, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:such as crafting materials or Exalted items.
Once you've started an Echo, you will be presented with a main objective that must be completed🌟 before you can leave. These objectives are never timed, so you can clear the dungeon at your leisure. After you complete the objective, you may open a portal to access ༒your Echo rewards. Claim your spoils and interact with the Monolith to select a new Echo.
Stability Explained
Every time you clear an Echo in the Monolith of Time, your current timeline's stability will increase. Stability allows you to access Quest Echoes in your current timeline. There are three Quest Echoes for each timeline, the first two serving as a pre-requisite to unlocking that timeline's boss fight. The third Quest Echo will always be a boss fight.
You earn stability by killing enemies in Echoes and by completing Echo objectives. Most of your stability will come from slaying monsters, so it's advantageous to kill any monsters on your way to your main objective. The further your Echo is from the center of the Monolith map, the more stability you'll earn.
Should You Farm Stability?
Generally, if you care about boss loot, farm 🍨stability. I🏅f you're target-farming certain Echo rewards, ignoring the bonus objective is ideal.
Once you earn enough stability (usually 240-400), you will gain access to that timeline's final Quest Echo. Defeat the boss within this Echo, and you'll exchange all of your stability for rewards exclusive to that boss' loot pool. For example, the Twisted Heart of Uhkeiros Unique may only drop from the final boss in the Reign of Dragons timeline.
Blessings
Defeating a boss will also allow you to gain a Blessing from that specific timeline. A Blessing is a passive bonus that affects your character indefinitely, similar to your character's passive tree. You will randomly be presented 3-5 blessings based on your timeline's Corruption value (explained later in the guide). You may only be affected by one Blessing per timeline, up to a maximum of ten Blessings.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Last Epoch: Experimental Items, Expl𒊎ained
Here is everything you need to ꩲkno🐼w about experimental items in Last Epoch.
Empowered Monoliths
When you defeat a timeline's boss for the first time, you will unlock new timelines to explore in the End of Time. For example, defeating the main boss in the Fall of the Outcasts timeline will unlock The Stolen Lance and The Black Sun timelines. Your goal is to work your way towards thꦡe last three timelines near the top of the map: The Age of Winter, Spirits of Fire, and The Last Ruin.
You must defeat the bosses in the last three timelines to unlock Empowered Monoliths. This is a significantly harder variant of the Monolith of Fate, settꦅing all enemies to Level 100 while increasing all Echo modifier values, including your XP and item rarity bonuses. You can activate an Empowered Monolith run by interact🎐ing with a timeline Monolith in the End of Time and selecting the "Legendary" difficulty option.
Ce♛rtain Uniques and Set items can only drop in Empowered Monoliths. Exact drop tables may be viewed on
The gameplay loop of Empowered Monoliths is the same as their non-empowered counterparts. You'll need to clear Echoes to build stability, use that stability to fight bosses, and push further in🀅to the edges of the map to unlock greater rewards. But in a cruel twist, Empowered Monoliths draw the attention of the Void. The further you get from the center, the more Corruption you'll face.
Corruption
Corruption is a modifier that scales player rewards and monster power. Each stack of Corruption increases monster HP and damage, but it also increases your XP gains and item rarity. You can technically earn Corruption in normal Monolith runs, but it has a hard cap of x50 stacks. All Empowered Monoliths start at x100 Corruption and can scale indefinitely.
Corruption is passively built up as your character clears Echoes. The further the Echo is from the center, the more Corruption you'll experience. This means that you can, in theory, make your Monolith run so hard that you can't kill anything, but there's a solution to this issue.
If you need to lower your Corruption stacks, you can clear the Sanctuary of Eterra node or defeat the Shade of Orobyss boss. The Sanctuary always spawns൲ near your Monolith, while the Shade of Orobyss spawns♔ at the edge of the timeline web. Completing either Echo will decrease your timeline's Corruption stacks.
