Once you have your Lightless Arbor Key, click on the entrance to the dungeon and you'll be prompted to select the dungeon's difficulty. Each difficulty level has higher level enemies bཧut promises better reward💦s.

  • Tier 1: Level 20 - No changes.

  • Tier 3: Level 88 - Enemies drop more Glyphs and have 40% increased damage.
  • Tier 4: Level 100 - Enemies drop substantially more Exalted Amulets, have 100% increased damage, and 90% increased health.

The Lightless Arbor has a unique dungeon mechanic called Illumination. While inside the dungeon, a glowing Amber shard will follow you around. It will start with an illumination level of 100, which will deplete as you are hit by attacks.

The Amber shard will illuminate the area around itself, while enemies outside the illumination area will deal more damage and take less damage. This means you'll want to make sure enemies are inside the light as much as possible to remove t🦂hese buffs.

You will also gain access to the Burning Amber ability, which lets you move the Amber shard around, allowing you to illuminate areas o꧙ther than immediately around 🌠your character.

As mentioned above, the Amber shard's illumination level will deplete as you are hit by enemy attacks. To restore stacks of Illumination, you will need to find and destroy Amber Elemental enemies. Killing one of these enemies will restore the illumination level back to 100.

With this in mind, explore the dungeon until you reach one of two doors. You can only proceed through one, and each door has different modifiers for the rest of the dungeon like increasing enemy health and damage while iꦜncreasiܫng the amount of Glyphs the boss drops, and so on.

Repeat this a second time, and🤪 you'll enter the area just before the final boss fight of the dungeon.

The Mountain Beneath Boss Fight Guide

The final boss of the Lightless Arbor is the Mountain Beneath. This fight is split into two phases with different mechanics, the first of which requires you to use the Illumination mechanic.

At the start of the fight, you'll be in a narrow room with the immune Mountain Beneath boss at the front. On either side of the arena is a Kindling that can be ignited when you stand next to it with the Amber shard.

The Mountain Beneath is completely immune to damage while both Kindlings are alive, so you'll need to deal with those first. Move close to the Kindling or use the Burning Amber ability to move it next to the Kindling to light it on fire. After a few seconds, the Kindling will be destroyed and the boss will take a significant🌌 chunk of damage.

While you are igniting the Kindling, monsters will appear and the Mountain Beneath will use large AoE attacks. Avoid these using traversal skills, as they can be deadly.

Repeat this a second time, and the boss will collapse, creating a pathway to Enter the Mountain. Proceed through here to enter the core 🏅of the Mountain,▨ where phase two of the fight will begin.

Now, you will have to destroy the Stone Titan's Heart in the center of the arena. This enemy will use various AoE attacks like firing expanding green lasers or conal attacks, so watch for the telegraphs and move to avoid them accordingly. At the same time, additional enemies will appear that you'll need to deal with.

Continue dodging AoE attacks while you deal damage to the Stone Titan's Heart, and eventually, it will go down. The key to this fight is playing defensively, getting hits in where you can, but prioritizing dodging the boss's attacks.
