The Villagers are an indispensable aspect of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. They cover all of Soh's weaknesses, excelling in specialiꩲsed ways that they do not. Their tactical plac💃ement and thoughtful Role consideration are core to the gameplay loop of Kunitsu-Gami, yet there is one boss that takes that all away.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path ꦛOf The Goddess Feels Like🍸 A Sister Game To Okami
From the moment I saw Kunit⛎su-Gami’s gameplay trailer, I could see the impact of Okami’s legacy
Following on from Muenzuka Burial Grounds, which already deprived you of Villagers, you must now face the fearsome Bupposo in a one-on-one battle wi🐭thout any back-up. Planning is k꧋ey here, so read on for the best ways to make short work of Bupposo and keep Yoshiro safe.
Due to most Mazo Talismans and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tsuba Guards being unlocked conditionally, we've equipped ourselves only with upgrades and items we know all players would have access to.
Recommended Soh Set-Up Against Bupposo
At this point in the game, you will have unlocked the upgrade menu for Soh after having🌺 previously defeated Batsu. Because of that, we will be showing you a recommended bu꧃ild for Soh that counters Bupposo pretty effectively.
Remember that all Musubi can be refunded free of charge infinitely, so don't be afraid 🅠to take some upgrades away fromಌ your Villagers for this boss battle.
Seeing as you have to battle Bupposo all by your lonesome, giving Soh a more focused build is key to your success.🌼 Below, we've listed the 🦩upgrades we gave Soh that let them defeat Bupposo with ease.

Dance Upgrade |
Shiden Form 2 |
5 |
This lets you charge the Dance Attack after the first Regular Attack, whi🥂ch can be unleashed for massive Resist Ga🌌uge damage. |
Ability Upgrade 1 |
Perfect Guard |
5 |
Guard at the moment an attack connects to briefly stagger the enemy without depletingꦕ the Guard Gauge. |
Ability Upgrade 2 |
Counterattack |

Ability Upgrade 3 |
Punishing Strike |
20 |
Use the Dance Attack button to unleash a powerful attack on an enemy whose Resist Gauge has been depleted. This is shown b🌄y a large red ꦡcircle on the enemy. |
Altogether, these upgrades cost 55 Musubi. If you fall short of that, Co🉐unterattack can be done without, though i🉐t's a nice extra utility if you can get the precise timing off on it.
Blocking is incredibly useful against Bupposo, especially if you can stagger them with Perfect Guard as this will interrupt their combo string. Otherwise, dodge if you feel your Guard Gauge is getting low, as you will be left vulnerabl൲e for a few seconds once i🌠t is depleted.
Shiden Dance is helpful as it moves you around much less, letting you stay completed focused on Bupposo without accidentally leading them towards Yoshiro.
Bupposo will run straight for Yoshiro once you're defeated, so always prioritise your survival to keep him away fro🌳m her.
How To Defeat Bupposo
Bupposo can be a challenging battle but equally rewarding all the same. He'll put your understanding of the core combat system to the test, which has a🥀 surprising amount of depth for a Tower Defence game.
There are no summons in this boss battle, just you and Bupposo. Though, unlike most other bosses in the game, Bupposo also has a distinct second phase to really keep you on your toes.
Fun fact - if you're fast and strong enough, you can defeat Bupposo before he has a chance to enter his second phase.
To give you a headstart on Bupposo, we♍'ve detailed each and all of his moves in the table ♏below:
Attack |
Attack Description |
---|---|
Swordsman Slashes |
Bupposo will raise his sword and slash at you. There will be brief pauses between each slash, which can continue for up to four strikes total. |
Spinning Slash |
Bupposo will raise his sword before moving forward and doing a spinning slash all around them while advancing forward slightly. This is an unblockable attack. |
Parry |
Bupposo deflect your strikes if you attack him enough, letting him unleash a quick attack of his own that knocꦡks you back. |
Phase Shift Slash |
Once they're below 50% health, Bupposo will run to the large tree by the edges of the arena before pulling a large Odachi from the root. He will then jump back into the arena, slamming the ground with his new weapon. This attack is unblockable. |
Odachi Slam Combo |
Bupposo will raise the Odachi above their head before slamming it down. This part of the attack is unblockable. They may the﷽n continue with a shove that fires off a damaging wave, and a final slow spinning slash as they rest the Odachi on their shoulder. |
That's the entirety of their moveset. Though they don't have a large variety of moves, they have great customizability to them. Each and every slash can be delayed, while the majority of their second ꦑphase attacks can either break through your Guard Gauge with only two attacks, or are outright unblockable.
In their first phase, Perfect Guard is a great tool against Bupposo as it can interrupt their attack string at any point. Conversely, laying🦹 enough attacks into Bupposo before their attack hits you may also briefly stagger them.
Landing Shiden Form 2 Dance Attacks on him is essential as this will rapidly deplete his Resist Gauge, while Punishing Strike will let you dole out some devastating damage.
In their second phase, Bupposo is much less bothered by your attacks, so dodging becomes much more effective here. It can be easy to becomeꦛ defensive waiting for the next strike in their combo, though it is best to simply wait it out rathe꧑r than striking in between hits.
After the Unblockable combo completes, Buppose will remain idle for a few moments. T🌃he perfect time to unleash some charged Dance Attacks.
And that's all there is to Bupposo. Once he's defeated, you'll gain the Marksman Role and continue on💛wards with your journey down the mountain. Congratulations!
