Stage Four of Egg Engines in Kirby’s Return To Dream Land Deluxe takes you on an underwater venture, where you’ll often be swimming in strong currents that will whisk you away if you’re not careful. Because of this, you might need to replay the stage a few times to collect everything a♓vailable.
However, it’s not always clear just where to find all the items and collectibles, which is why we’ve outlined them all here in this walkthrough. Follow this as you go around the pipes of Egg Engines, and you’ll find all the item🦂s in no time.
First Section
As soon as you enter this stage, you’ll drop down a narrow passage and land in water. The water has a strong current running through it, so𝓡 you’ll be taken along to the right🍌.
Allow the water flow to take you around. Collect any stars you see on the way and watch out for the spiked enemies that are in the bottom area. There’s a red star to collect near the last spiked enemy too.
The current will take you directly to the star dꦺoor. Go in here.
Second Section
Go right and drop down a level. It’s dark in this section, so be careful. Drop down the ledges below and follow the arrow right. There’s an enemy here you can take the Fire Copy Ability from.
Continue right and attack any enemies you see. When you have the option to go up or down, go down first to grab a star. Then, go up. Attack the enemy, then grab the stars and candle above you. You’ll now be able to see better.
Take the candle right. Drop down three levels here. There’s a sleeping enemy on the level below, so go left and drop down there instead.
You can also receive a grape on this path🍒. At the bottom, go r🎐ight and up to continue along the passage.
Above the enemy, there are blocks you can break. Drop the candle to attack the enemy and the blocks. Go along the secret path to grab a red star and the Hammer Copy Ability. Drop back down and continue right.
Drop down two ledges, then continue following the path down. Drop your candle, then go right and use your Hammer Copy Ability to smash the blocks and grab the Energy Sphere.
Go back to pick up your candle again and continue left. Drop to the level below to collect a s🐭tamp ticket and stars. Jump up at the end and continue going left. Go down the ledges.
You’ll see a star door ahead, but don’t go in. Attack the snail enemy in the way and smash the blocks at the end.
If you go through the first star door, you'll miss a collectible.
Jump down and you’ll be taken through another water current, leading to another star door. Go in here.
Third Section
You’ll arrive in another underwater section that pushes Kirby ahead. Use your Hammer Copy Ability to destroy all the blocks and enemies in your path. Make s🅺ure to dodge the spinning, spiked poles just ahead.
Just beyond them, you’ll see an Energy Sphere in the center of two rows of anemone enemies. Swim through to pick it up.
Smash the next set of blocks. There are moving platforms with spikes on the bottom here. Wait for the first to rise up, then swim to the safe gap in the middle. Wait for the next one toไ rise before swimming through again, and do the same with the next one.
Keep swimming, and you’ll see two Copy Abilities above you and a full HP restore. Choose between the Parasol and Fighter Copy Abilities before going through the star door on the right.
Fourth Section
Once again, you’ll arrive in a current of water. Either continue swimming in the current or jump onto a platform above to walk. Continue right past the enemies, and you’ll begin an encounter with the Kibble Blade.
How To Defeat The Kibble Blade
The Kibble Blade miniboss regularly throws its blade at you. Jump or step back to avoid it. Alternatively, jump over the blade and run towards it to hit it before the blade comes back.
It will also charge at you using the blade on its helmet. As soon as it begins to charge, jump into the air and behind it. You can hit it while it still charging in the opposite direction and after it crashes.
Keep hitting the Kibble Blade whenever you have the opportunity, and you’ll defeat it. You’ll gain the Cutter Copy Ability in return. Grab the Copy Ability and🐈 follow the a𒀰rrow right.
You’ll see a star button on the other end of a cylinder of water. The current is too strong to swim across diagonally, so use the Cutter Copy Ability to hit it from a distance.
This can be tricky, and charging up the Ability doesn’t quite reach the button. Instead, you’ll need to aim the blade left, then curve its direction to go above and behind Kirby to hit the button.
This removes the blocks to the left, revealing two food items and an Energy Sphere. Grab these before💞 going to the star door on the right.
Fifth Section
Destroy the blocks in front of you to continue through the water. Again, the current is strong here. Rather than going straight ahead between the two enemies, drop down below to collect red and yellow stars.
Continue right and the current will take you along. When the current takes you to the top and you see three anemone enemies in a row along the ceiling next to blocks, destroy the blocks and continue right.
Follow the current and you’ll reach a room with the star door through a passage on the right. Don’t go in here yet.
Stay as far away from the right side of the room as possible to avoid being pulled into the current and through the passage.
If you do end up being pulled into the room on the right, you’ll need to restart the stage to find all the collectibles.
Instead, go down the passage at the bottom of the room. The current will take you to a room with red and yellow stars, as well as an Energy Sphere.
Take the current on the right and return to where y𓂃ou originally saw the 🌼star door. Go inside.
Sixth Section
Destroy the blocks directly ahead of you, but be mindful of the fish waiting to swallow you directly behind them. Swim up and along the passage. Hit the bomb block below on the right, avoiding the fish here too. Go through the passa𒀰ge that just o꧟pened up.
Follow the current around and destroy the next set of blocks. There’s another fish behind them, so be careful. Swim beneath it to the next area. Here, you’ll need to swim up to collect stars and dodge the fish that come both from the bottom and from the🔯 ceiling.
At the last fish, you’ll see a bomb block and blocks preventing you from continuing. However, there’s also a star door that the fish covers when it pops out. Wait for it to retract and go inside.
You’ll find yourself in a dark room where you can swim. Swim up and jump onto the ledge. On the left, there’s an Energy Sphere behind a locked door that you can’t open just yet. Go right. At the end of this passage, inhale the enemy to obtain the Spark Copy Ability.
Shoot electricity upwards to hit the bomb block and receive a candle.
Take the candle and turn back. You’ll see two more bomb blocks you can hit, but the one closest to the locked door will grant you the key. Hit this bomb block and take the key to the door to receive the Energy Sphere.
Drop back down to the star door where yꦑou entered.
Back in the main stage, hit the bomb block ahead of you and the current will lead you directly to the final star door.
Before heading in, destroy the blocks on the left to grab a stamp ticket.
