Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Flying With Landia

First Section

Before taking on the final boss, Kirby will ride on one of the Landia dragons and fly across space. During this, you’ll need to shoot fire ahead of you to attack incoming enemies. You can also charge at them to attack them.

The very first part is in open space, but you’ll soon enter an area with lava-covered walls above, below, and around you. Navigate this so you don’t crash.

Soon, you’ll come across moving platforms ahead of you. Hang back until they separate and give you an opening to pass thr🌜ough. Do the same for the moving ♚platforms beyond this.

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Kirby And Landia In Front Of Moving Platforms

As you move through the platforms, you’ll see a Life-Up in an alcove above you. You&ꦑrsquo;ll need to fly up there and then move backward to gr🍰ab it.

Attack the three large enemies that appear when you exit the area surrounded by lava🅘 platforms. Landia will transport yo♋u to another area.

Second Section

Dodge the incoming spiked objects. Attacking them won’t destroy them in time. Attack the incoming enemies, and when you see the moving platforms again, hang back until they move and leave a gap for you to pass through.

Here, more spiked objects fall from the sky. Maneuver through these while attacking the enemies.

Ahead, you’ll see an enemy in front of a star button on a platform. Destroy the enemy and hit the star button. Do the same for the next few of these. Keep going through the moving plat🅠forms when there’s space fo💛r you to pass.

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Kirby And Landia Next To Star Button

As you exit here, there are huge versions of the spiked objects you passed before. Fly towards the top of the screen and wait for it to move down before continuing. There are more of these past it, so find the safe gap before passing through. Landia will fly you to𓃲 another area to the end, where you’ll see a cutscene of Magalor.

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Lor & Magalor Boss Fight

First Phase

You can’t hit Magalor in this fight, so aim for the Lor Starcutter.

The Lor Starcutter will begin by shooting stars at you. Fly with Landia to avoid these and hit it with fireballs. It will also throw its wing at you, so dodge this when it comes at you.

Magalor will conjure oars to throw at you in a row. These will home in on you, so let them come closer to you, then fly out of the way.

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Lor Wind Attack

Additionally, Magalor will make the Lor Starcutter’s mast shoot gusts of wind directly ahead. Move out of the way as soon as you see the wind form and fly behind the ship to avoid it.

Keep dodging the attacks and shoot fireballs at the ship continually. When you take down half of their HP, t💧h🐻e ship will crash.

Second Phase

The Lor Starcutter will stop for a few seconds here, so get in as many hits as you can. It wꦗill then start to shoot balls ༺of energy at you. Dodge these.

After this, the ship will protect itself with a shield and begin to attack you from behind. You can’t attack it from this angle, so focus on dodging the attacks it throws 🦩at you. When it’s finished, itꦆ will fly back around to the front, where you can start attacking it again.

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Lor Attacks From Behind

Magalor will make the mast produce wind tornados again, but this time the ship will spin around, shooting the attack as it goes. Follow the attack around clockwise and🎃 attack t꧋he ship.

Magalor makes the ship use many of the same attacks from here on out, so keep your fireballs going and dodge as many of the incoming attacks as you can.

When the ship goes down, your HP will fully restore and a cutscene will play before you take on Magalor himself.

Out of the standard options, Mecha is objectively the best choice. It allows you to fly easily and offers great attack o𒐪ptions.

Choose your Copy Ability and head through the🐠 star door to the right for the final boss fight of the game.

First Phase

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Magalor First Phase

Magalor summons balls of dark energy that he throws at you. You can destroy these with a Copy Ability or dodge them completely.

Magalor can also make spikes shoot up from the bottom of the arena. You can see where they’ll shoot up by looking for the purple pools of liquid on the floor. Make sure to dodge these when they appear, as they can knock your Copy Ability off you.

The boss will often head to the back of the stage and shoot attacks forward. Watch their direction and avoid wher♏e they’re going to make🦂 impact.

When Magalor starts to spin balls of dark energy in his hands, attack these so he doesn’t have the chance to throw them at you. Otherwise, you’ll need to dodge.

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Magalor Summons Sphere Doomers

Occasionally, Magalor will summon a star portal, through which small Sphere Doomers will appear. Attack these when they charge at you or jump to avoid them. They’ll disappear when they fly off the edge of t🍌he screen.

Second Phase

When you’ve reduced Magalor’s health by half, he will summon a star portal that tries to suck you in. Fly towards the edge of the arena to a꧟void being ♔taken in.

When Magalor flies to the edge of the arena, he will start to shoot a huge beam of light. Fly or jump to avoid this. If you get caught in it, you’ll get stuck and take a consℱiderable amount of damage.

Magalor repeats some attacks from the first phase as well, mostly sending attacks from the back of the arena and shooting balls of dark energy. Continue avoiding these and destroying the balls of dark energy as soon as they appear.

Third Phase

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Magalor Third Phase

Once you’ve depleted all of Magalor’s health, he will shield himself with another health bar and a star-shaped shield. He’ll summon star portals that enemies come out of. Look for the enemy with the Super Ability and take it from them.

Use the Super Ability whenever Magalor teleports onto the main area. If he’s in the back of the arena, the attack won’t hit him. However, you can still use the Super Ability to attack any normal enemies he summons and des𝓰troy the balls of eneꦚrgy he sends to you.

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Kirby Waits To Grab Super Ability From Enemies

He’ll teleport away after you’ve hit him once, so wait for him to teleport to you and use the Super Ability again. He’ll break the Super Ability after this, so you’ll need to look for the next one.

Grab the Super Ability from the next lot of enemies he summons, and use it when he appears in the main area again. Use it to destroy any attacks he throws at you, and wait for him to appear once more. Again, he’ll destroy the Super Ability after the second hit.

Dodge his attacks and wait for him to summon more enemies, then grab the Super Ability as soon as it appears. Use the Super Ability when Magalor telepor🅷ts to you. You’ll destroy the last section of this health bar.

Fourth Phase

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Magalor Fourth Phase

Magalor isn’t done yet. You’ll be transported to another boss arena.

If you’re low on health here, don’t worry. If you die, you’ll be able to enter the boss at this phase. You’ll also be able to choose from the Copy Abilities again to give you an advantage.

Magalor will summon regular enemies, so grab a Copy Ability from them if you can. He’ll also summon spikes from above and below — you can see where they’ll show up by the dark shadow on the ground.

Just like before, Magalor will produce balls of dark energy to throw at you.🅺 Dodge these or destroy them using a Copy Ability.

Magalor will make two star portals appear on either side of the arena and dive through them. Jump out of the way of these so that he𒊎 doesn’t bump into you.

He’ll also use the beam attack from 🅺before, so make𒊎 sure to jump out of the way of this.

This is an ideal opportunity to attack Magalor. When you’re out of the way of the beam, relentlessly attack him to get in some damage while he’s stationary.

Additionally, he’ll summon a number of star portals around you and make them turn into spikes to hit you. Jump to the center and stay on the ground t🅠o avoid bein𒀰g hit.

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Kirby Surrounded By Star Portals

When he’s down to half HP, he’ll summon two swords. He swings them at you, but he’s rather slow. Jump out of the way of the sword’s swing and attack from above. After a few swings, he’ll drop the swords and return to his usual attacks.

Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Magalor With Swords

He’ll continue summoning star portals, but this time he’ll𝕴 shoot a beam between the two of♔ them. Avoid being directly between the stars.

Keep hitting Magalor with a Copy Ability while dodging his attacks. Your best bet is to use long-range attacks, as getting too close to Magalor means he can easily bump into you. Stay agile and never in one place, as Magalor summons things to damage you in almost every part of the arena.

Once you’ve depleted his health bar, Magalor will finally be de⭕feated, and you’ll see the ending cutscene.
