20 Ice Titan (Kingdom Hearts 1) 🐻 ♋

And Then Along Came Sora

It would seem Zeus isn't the only one the Titans have a bone to pick with. The Ice Titan might not be in the conversation as much as his fellow KH1 super bosses, but he's bound to give newcomers a hard time because he's really the only battle in the entire game that mandates the guard ability.

Since it's feasible to get through the whole campaign without even knowing you can guard, you'll be at a serious disadvantage here. The Titan is totally invincible until you bounce back a certain number of his icicle shard attacks, and even then, you get a measly 10-second window to do damage before it's back to ricocheting. Where's Herc when you need him?

19 🥂 Ansem (Kingdom Hearts 1)

The Original, But Not Quite The Toughest

Ansem is the first main antagonist in the series, who is subtly but intentionally built up throughout all of Kingdom Hearts. Whe♍n you finally encounter him near the end of the game, the fights with himও feel epic, and the grandeur is earned.

While all of the encounters with Ansem have varying levels of difficulty, the one that sticks out, perhaps for being the most frustrating one, is his second fight on the wrecked Destiny Islands. Ansem's attacks are aggressive, but you need to be strategic when it comes to dodging and working in moments to attack. If you are not prepared, this fight is an even bigger challenge since it is tricky to stock up on supplies when retrying. You're stuck in the bowels of the universe, after all.

18 Phantom (Kingdom Hearts 1) 🎐

Surely He's Already Dead

The secret bosses꧅ in the original Kingdom Hearts are perhaps the most ico💛nic batch of secret bosses in the series. While all of them are memorable and challenging for their own reasons, the fight with Phantom can absolutely wreck Sora if you are not expecting the battle.

There are hints as to how to beat Phantom, but if you are not the best at picking them up, then this fight might seem impossible. The gimmick of the fight is matching magic with the signals Phantom is giving out to be able to deal damage. Even knowing this, it is a tough challenge that requires plenty of items stocked up to ensure you don't run out of magic.

17 Demyx (Kingdom Hearts 2) 🅘

Dance, Water, Dance!

When looking at all the Organization XIII members and wondering which of them might offer the p𝓰layer the biggest challenge, it might be a surprise that the answer is the klutzy Demyx. This can be even more shocking to you if you have never faced Demyx on a higher difficulty, or gotten unlucky, but these fa💜ctors can make Demyx a pretty tough roadblock in the story.

Demyx is a very gimmicky encounter with Sora, centered aro🍸und taking down his water spirits using reaction comma♌nds, but if you are unable to do this, Demyx can deal massive damage with his music.

16 ✨ Julius (Dream Drop Distance) 🀅

Literally Nobody Expected To See Him Again

One of the main strengths of Dream Drop Distance is how it capitalized on some lesser-known Disney characters and franchises. This can be seen even in the selection of secret bosses, with the choice being Julius, a character that was featured🐬 in an obscure (and controversial) Disney animated short, The Runaway Brain.

In spite of his origins, Julius can be a pretty tough challenge with just how aggressive of an encounter he is, and you'll have to fight him twice as Sora and Riku if you want to be a completionist.

15 Data Master Xehanort (Kingdom🎶 🔥Hearts 3 Re:Mind)

Xehanort Meets The Matrix

When Kingdom Hearts 3 was launched, it was quite polarizing, with some fans not loving its 'favour bombastic visuals over combat depth' approach. One aspect that was heavily criticized was the bosses not being hard enough, so it is no surprise that when the Re:Mind DLC was launched, the Data fights offered some of the most challenging, demanding ordeals in the series. Be careful what you wish for!

There are plenty of challenges in these data fights, but perhaps the hardest w✤as Data Master Xehanort, who was made significantly tougher than his encounter in the main story. His screen-clearing magic nukes and lunge attacks require pixel-perfect precision and guarding.

14 Data Dark Riku (Kingdom🌳 Hearts 3) ♌

"I'm Me," He Says

Much like his Xehanort brethren, the Data recreation of Dark Riku is no pushover. Initially believed to be the version of Riku who had been possessed by Ansem in the past, Dark Riku is actually the Replica Riku from Chain of Memories, brainwashing and all. He's only got one thing on his mind: taking down Sora.

To that end, he's armed with a vast array of BS attacks. Mines are scattered all over the arena, making every step you take a potentially fatal one. He'll pound you with his Soul Eater dagger, as well as lunges and pillars of pure malice. As if that weren't enough, he can summon an impenetrable barrier that even a Level 99 Ultima Keyblade will have difficulty contending with.

13 Young Xehanort (Dream Drop Distance) 🍨

Younger, But No Less Of A Threat

As one of the last bosses on Riku’s route, Young Xehanort puts up a pretty tough fight. Using his clock lightsaber, Young Xehanort is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:able to manipulate time to create mirages of himself to attack you, forcing you to play on the defensive for most of the fight. If he does catch you, he deals hefty damage with long combos and rang🤪e, meaning you need to do your best to keep your distance and be patient.

After depleting his first life bar, he proceeds to initiate his 'fury' mode and summons a magical clock for you to take down. Xehanort will protect this clock with his life, however, and summons multiple mirages at once to make it difficult to find an opening.

12 🌳 Xaldin (Kingdom Hearts 2) ꦉ

You Might Even Remember His Name After This

Xaldin stands as one of the hardest story bosses within Kingdom He🦩artsꦓ 2, and for good reason. He has a pesky barrier protecting him at most times, and you’ll have to wait patiently for the “Jump” command to appear to break his defenses.

If your timing is off, or you fail to figure out the correct strategy, Xaldin can end up feeling extremely unfair for the stage of the game in which he appears. Even with the proper approach, he can still deal a great amount of damage and leave little time to attack him. He sure tests your reaction time 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:as a Keyblade Master.

11 Data Demyx (Kingd🌌om Hearts 2)

Die, Water, Die!

You thought regular ol' Demyx was bad? Well, there's a reason he's getting two slots on this list. Data Demyx takes everything that was soul-rendingly frustrating about the OG fight and dials it up to 11. While you could cheese your way through the irritating dance mini-game the first time around, no such luck here.

When Data Demyx calls out, "Dance, water, dance!" (which he's scripted to do at least three times, even with an empty health bar, before the game lets you finish him), you'd better get cracking on killing his little H2O minions. Failing that, it's instant death for Sora. Try, try, try again – eventually, you'll beat this Jedward wannabe.
