Like a lot of RPGs that feature separate threads of endgame content, Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix also has its fair share of secrets. Spe🐠cifically, Sephiroth, a hidden boss battle that, if beaten, will net its victor the One-Winged Angel Keyblade, as well as Ansem's Report 12. Question is, how do you go about finding Sephiroth, and how exactly do you beat him?

How To Unlock The Sephiroth Boss Battle

You will first encounter Sephiroth during a cinematic in the Olympus Coliseum. Unfortunately, you won't be able to confront him until you've beaten the four cups: Phil, Pegasus, Hercules, and Hades. After you've completed all four cups, speak with Phil in the Lobby, and then select the "???" option.

You will have the choice of either facing an Ice Titan, in which you can win the Diamond Dust weapon, or finally confronting Sephiroth. Choosing the latter will activate the boss battle, at which point you will not be able to save your game until the fight is over.

How To Prepare To Face Sephiroth

Before you go jumping into the ring with Sephiroth, you will need to bring Sora up to level 65 or above. If you're underleveled, and haven't quite maxed out you൲r HP or MP bars yet, you should aim to do this first, as Sephiroth can pretty much wipe the flo🦩or with you in one fell swoop.

You should also stock up on Megaelixers if you have them, as these will help boost your HP and MP during the fight.

As for equipment, you should aim to have Sora equipped with the Ultima Weapon: a rare Keyblade that can be obtained by completing the entire synthesis collection at 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Moogle's Synthesis Shop in Traverse Town.

You should also have Cosmic Arts, Crystal Crown, and Omega Arts equipped, as each of these will give you a major boost in HP, MP, and AP.

Accessories that reduce dark damage are advised as well, like the Gaia Bangle.

Also, if you have Second Chance and Once More unlocked, then this will help you retain some of your HP if Sephiroth manages to land a critical attack.

Lastly, you will need to assign the Aero and Curaga spells to your shortcuts. Having both of these equipped at all times will give you additional defense against Sephiroth's attacks, as well as the chance to heal when needed.

Only Sora can fight Sephiroth in a 1v1 battle.

Before beginning the special bout, do not assign your Elixirs or best items to Donald or Goofy, as they will not be able to help you during the match.

How To Beat Sephiroth In The Platinum Match

To beat Sephiroth in battle, you will need to whittle down six health bars without losing all your HP. To do this, you will need to stick to the winged foe like glue, using a barrage of counterattacks with the Ultima Weapon while disrupting his spe💖cial moves.

Phase One

The first stage of the fight is only a taste of what's to come. Immediately cast Aero to give yourself some extra defense. Sephiroth has a dangerous attack range thanks to his sword's length, so you'll want to keep your distance. Attacking from the ground is a sure-fire way to take damage, so instead, leap into the air to attack.

Rather than roll out of the way of his sword, use High Jump to get some air.

The best moves to use to avoid his attacks completely involve giving you invulnerability for a few moments, such as Strike Raid. Only use this move if you have MP to spare.

When Sephiroth summons pillars of fire to engulf you, try to roll out of the way. If you find yourself stuck in the middle with Sephiroth, try hitting him with the Keyblade to stagger him.

Phase Two

Once you've taken out a chunk of his health, phase two will begin. Sephiroth will leap across the arena and taunt Sora by saying, "Come." He'll begin teleporting and cast Descend Heartless Angel.

Once the spell is cast, a red halo will appear over Sora's head and reduce his MP to zero and his HP to one.

Quickly attack Sephiroth before he can cast the spell, otherwise you'll need to get some distance and immediately use an Elixir to restore your MP and HP.

Once you've been affected by Descend Heartless Angel, Sephiroth will lunge for you. Jump over the attack and unleash a combo, then roll out of the way to avoid counterattacks.

Sephiroth will soon use Octoslash, which is difficult to avoid. You can start Strike Raid at the beginning and hit the prompt at the right time to remain invulnerable throughout the attack, or you can try to jump and deflect Sephiroth's swings.

This will continue until phase three begins.

Phase Three

The final phase will test your mettle. Sephiroth will quickly teleport around the arena and cast Meteor. Six meteorites drop and move about the arena, so jump and glide to avoid damage.

Dodge roll towards the center before the final explosion♍ to avoid taking damage.

After the attack, Sephiroth will initiate a flying slash that hones in on you. Try to keep your distance and strike a combo whe𒅌n he lands. He will counter with his flying slash and will pull out all𓆏 the stops from the previous phases to try and finish you off.

Remain vigilant and stay on your toes. Don't get reckless and rush in, as one wrong move can spell certain doom for Sora. If you're careful and consistent, you'll defeat Sephiroth in no time.
